However, this system is plagued by issues such as decreased ride comfort and severe deformation of urban roads due to the increase in sprung mass and long-term rolling at the same position. To address these concerns and improve the human-vehicle-road friendliness of the virtual rail train, we propose an Improved Sky-Ground Hook and Acceleration-Driven Damper control (Improved SH-GH-ADD control) strategy for the semi-active suspension system. This control monitors the vibration acceleration signal of the unsprung mass in real-time and selects the mixed Sky-Hook and Acceleration-Driven Damper (SH-ADD) control or the mixed Ground-Hook and Acceleration-Driven Damper (GH-ADD) control based on the positive and negative values of the vibration acceleration of the unsprung mass. The Improved SH-GH-ADD control combines the advantages of SH-ADD control and GH-ADD control to achieve control of the sprung mass and unsprung mass in the full frequency band. Finally, through simulation and comparative analysis with traditional SH-ADD, GH-ADD, and mixed SH-GH control, we demonstrate the exceptional performance of the proposed algorithm.","PeriodicalId":49496,"journal":{"name":"Sound and Vibration","volume":"181 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135508290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When analyzing the NVH performance of the vehicle body, the traditional SEA (Statistical Energy Analysis) simulation technology is usually limited by the accuracy of the material parameters obtained during the acoustic package modeling and the limitations of the application conditions. In order to effectively solve these shortcomings, based on the analysis of the vehicle noise transmission path, a multi-level objective decomposition architecture of the interior noise at the driver’s right ear is established. Combined with the data-driven method, the ResNet neural network model is introduced. The stacked residual blocks avoid the problem of gradient disappearance caused by the increasing network level of the traditional CNN network, thus establishing a higher-precision prediction model. This method alleviates the inherent limitations of traditional SEA simulation design, and enhances the prediction performance of the ResNet model by dynamically adjusting the learning rate. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a specific vehicle model and verified. The results show that the proposed method has significant advantages in prediction accuracy and robustness.","PeriodicalId":49496,"journal":{"name":"Sound and Vibration","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135508288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a simple example, the nonlinear damping Mathieu equation has been investigated. In this investigation, two nonlinear solvability conditions are imposed. One of them was imposed in the first-order homotopy perturbation and used to study the stability behavior at resonance and non-resonance cases. The next level of the perturbation approaches another solvability condition and is applied to obtain the unknowns become clear in the solution for the firstorder solvability condition. The approach assumed here is so significant for solving many parametric nonlinear equations that arise within the engineering and nonlinear science.","PeriodicalId":49496,"journal":{"name":"Sound and Vibration","volume":"72 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79639768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In a closed environment, it is ideally preferred to maintain the acoustic parameters as constant so that there exists better quality of sound leading to better auditory perception with respect to the audience. Practically, some of the acoustic parameters like reverberation time and clarity do not strictly pertain to the pattern obtained theoretically. In this paper, simulations are carried out using I-SIMPA under different values of Sound Transmission Class (STC), source position, distribution and the chamber dimensions and provides an insight into the behaviour of these acoustic parameters and the appropriate values that have to be infused into the system to build the chamber. The acoustic environment is modelled keeping an actual closed room in mind and testing is done with respect to different values of surface absorption coefficients (practically indicated using Sound Transmission Class) and dimensions to determine ideal conditions.","PeriodicalId":49496,"journal":{"name":"Sound and Vibration","volume":"46 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83732250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We carry out symmetry classification of two ODEs, named the generalizations of the Kummer-Schwarz equations which involving arbitrary function. First, Lie algorithm is used to give the determining equations of symmetry for the given equations, which involving arbitrary functions. Next, differential form Wu’s method is used to decompose determining equations into a union of a series of zero sets of differential characteristic sets, which are easy to be solved relatively. Each branch of the decomposition yields a class of symmetries and associated parameters. The algorithm makes the classification become direct and systematic. Yuri Dimitrov Bozhkov, and Pammela Ramos da Conceição have used the Lie algorithm to give the symmetry classifications of the equations talked in this paper in 2020. From this paper, we can find that the differential form Wu’s method for symmetry classification of ODEs with arbitrary function (parameter) is effective, and is an alternative method.","PeriodicalId":49496,"journal":{"name":"Sound and Vibration","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86191064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed methods have been used to construct hyperbolic, rational, dark soliton and trigonometric solutions of the LWE in the magnetoelectro-elastic circular rod. Arbitrary values are given to the parameters in the solutions obtained. 3D, 2D and contour graphs are presented with the help of a computer package program. For this purpose, the study is divided into two parts viz. to find the critical hydraulic eccentricity of a VT pump impeller by way of numerical simulations and design of experiments to find the vane pitch tolerance using critical hydraulic eccentricity. The effect of impeller vane pitch deviations on hydraulic unbalance is examined for a vertical turbine pump using Design of Experiments (DOE). A suitable orthogonal matrix has been selected with vane pitch at different axial locations of an impeller as the control factors. Hydraulic eccentricity, which is the output of the DOE experiments is analyzed using S/N ratio, ANOM and regression analysis to find the significant control factor effecting the hydraulic unbalance and hence vibrations. The vane pitch deviation at outlet and inlet of impeller shroud geometry are found to be the most critical factor affecting the pump vibrations.","PeriodicalId":49496,"journal":{"name":"Sound and Vibration","volume":"306 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79850628","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
