The study is based on ethnographic categories, namely urban and rural Islamic boarding schools, institutional system image categories, namely modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools. The research methodology involves library research for data sources and collection, and qualitative research for data analysis. The aim of using Lucia Mudiningtias' (2022) Islamic Boarding School Integration Management theory is to analyse internal capability indicators, such as finance, human resources, and organisational professionalism. Additionally, Muhammad Thoyib's (2018) theory of Contemporary Multicultural Islamic Education is used to analyse external capabilities, including community relations and the degree of nationalism. This research draws two conclusions, including: 1) Urban, rural, modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools in Java have the potential to improve and develop finances, risk management, cooperatives, work ethic, and increase the competence of educational staff; and 2) The text discusses urban, rural, modern, and traditional Islamic boarding schools in Java, focusing on their interaction with local communities, decision-making inefficiencies, cases of istiqāmah-qanā'ah in work, and the lack of career paths for teaching staff. Additionally, external elements such as the community can be involved, and teaching staff can be delegated to various educational and social services in the surrounding community. This study uses the Explanatory Research method with a sample of 47 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using path analysis and SMARTPLS3 as the statistical test. The results confirmed that reward and motivation directly impact staff performance, while the work environment has no direct impact. In addition, the findings suggest that motivation serves as a mediator in the relationship between rewards, work environment, and performance. The importance of providing appropriate rewards and creating conducive working conditions to stimulate motivation has been proven in this study. The purpose of the research is to find out whether the application of wordwall as a learning media can foster students' understanding of SD Sardonoharjo 1 Ngglik. This research interviewed one of the teachers at the elementary school. Several strategies are required to enhance the quality of an institution, and the leadership of the school principal also plays a significant role. The research objective is to identify the causes and strategies for the quality of education at MI NW Nurul Haramain Narmada. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The research results indicate that there are obstacles and improvements made by MI NW Nurul Haramain. The obstacles faced include not all items in the EDM being adequately filled; there are several indicators that still have low values, which are noted by the school. Improvements at MI NW Nurul Haramain Narmada include activities such as memorization (tahfidz), calligraphy, futsal, math and science, music, Arabic, English, and Scouts. The research results show that full-day school learning planning at the Sahabat Qur'an Integrated Islamic Elementary School is implemented for all subjects, including general and typical lessons at SDIT Sahabat Qur'an. Full-day learning planning at the Sahabat Qur'an Integrated Islamic Elementary School has been carried out simultaneously and systematically by each teacher in general subjects. Its results reveal that there are three important elements that play roles in shaping the character values of the al-Qur'an in the generation, including family, school and society. {"title":"Enhancing students’ listening proficiency (Mahārah Istimā’) in State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions by utilising the e-Learning Application “HATI”","authors":"Isti Jayang Fitrah, Muhammad Rikza Wahyu Hilal Ramdhani, Laily Fitriani, Abdul Aziz","doi":"10.32923/kjmp.v7i1.4089","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32923/kjmp.v7i1.4089","url":null,"abstract":"This study seeks to examine the process and enhancement of listening proficiency (mahārah istimā’) in the Arabic language among students of PKPBA (Special Programme for Arabic Language Development) at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang, when utilising the e-learning application HATI (Hayāh Al-‘Arābiyah Tafā’uliyan Iliktruniyan). The researcher utilised a mixed-methodologies technique, integrating both quantitative and qualitative methods and conducting descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative analyses. The researcher employed a combination of methodologies, including qualitative descriptive analysis, descriptive statistics, and the paired sample t-test were analysed using SPSS 16. The study focused on the first semester students of PKPBA at UIN Malang and researcher chose a sample of 28 students. The findings suggest that the utilisation of the HATI e-learning application for acquiring mahārah istimā’ can enhance students’ sensitivity and facilitate their ability to listen to Arabic conversations. This, in turn, makes it more pleasurable for students and facilitates the attainment of the predetermined learning goals. This is supported by the t-test value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates a statistically significant difference or a substantial influence of using the HATI application on the enhancement of mahārah istimā’. The acquired values consist of an average of 65.00 prior to or in the absence of utilising the HATI application. In contrast, following the utilisation of the HATI application, the mean value was 81.79. Higher education's distinctiveness requires unique approaches to implementing collaborative learning. This study's outcomes are likely to inform collaborative learning case studies in universities. So it can be used without sacrificing learning's aim. In addition, the success rate of collaborative learning can be obtained in a different but still effective approach. This study employed FGD (Focus Group Discussion) to evaluate three positive teaching questions. Based on experiment results, collaborative learning can be successfully applied with numerous key criteria. These aspects include a supportive classroom environment for numerous students, a comparison with other conventional classes, and assignments that encourage small and large group collaboration in phases. The collaborative learning model must be retested empirically to answer the primary research topic. According to interviews and polls, despite student happiness, there are still many flaws that must be fixed on both lecturer and student sides. To enhance collaborative learning, it is suggested to use project-based tasks as addition. Besides that, the motivation for students' interest in learning to read, the researchers saw that there was still a lack of motivation in reading. This was seen when in teaching reading, many students did it compulsorily, meaning that there was no motivation from themselves so that improving reading comprehension was not optimal. The purpose of this research and development is to produce a product in the form of word card media and picture cards to stimulate low grade students' motivation to read in remote areas. The method used in developing the product uses the ADDIE model. The results of product development research get a preset score of 93.39% with a very valid/feasible to use category. Product practicality results get a score percentage of 95.83%. The research method used to conduct the analysis is bibliometric. Search and filtering strategy using PRISMA flow chart. The research review uses data in comma-separated values (CSV) format, which is then exported to Microsoft Excel and to visualize the search results of bibliometric analysis the tool used is VOSviewer. The analysis resulted in the development of publications in the domain of learning models in physical education experiencing an increasing trend from year to year. Goodyear, V.A became the most prolific author by publishing as many as 5 research documents. The influential researcher with the most citations was written by Goodyear & Casey in 2015 (134 citations), the title of the article Innovation with change: developing a community of practice to help teachers move beyond the 'honeymoon' of pedagogical renovation. During the period 2012-2023, Indonesia became the country that has conducted the most research publications on the topic of learning models in physical education. While the country with the most citations is the United Kingdom with a total of 422 citations. The keywords that appear most in search analysis are physical education, learning model, cooperative learning, physical activity, e-learning, pedagogy, soccer, learning, motivation, and motor learning.
