The study adopted a cross-sectional survey design with a quantitative study approach to data collection and analysis. A sample size of 186 respondents was selected randomly from 360 households in Mbarara district. In the survey, respondents were subjected to a questionnaire survey method of data collection. Data from the questionnaires was coded, entered into SPSS, and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results show that there is a positive significant relationship between food production and socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households (r=.491, p<.01). The control variables of Age and level of education were found to contribute a statistically significant explanatory power of 3.4% in explaining socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households. The model results also show a significant relationship between food production and socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households (β= .378; p<05). The variables entered in the regression model explain an overall 28.4% (AdjR2 = .284) of the variance in socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households, implying that the remaining 71.6% is explained by factors not considered in this study. The study concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between food production and the socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households in the Mbarara district. Therefore, the study recommends that there is a need to advocate for women's empowerment to improve their status in decision-making at the family level.

The website uses location-based services to connect donors and recipients, reducing waiting times and risks. A sophisticated ranking system ensures an active donor pool, and direct communication channels facilitate matching blood types. Only individuals under 60 can register to donate, and a temporary donor-blocking mechanism encourages continued participation. Data management is securely stored within an SQLite database server, enhancing privacy and efficiency. This approach supports a safe and reliable blood donation process.

Early diagnosis of breast cancer increases the chance of recovery and life expectancy. Screening is the primary tool for early diagnosis and timely treatment of breast cancer in the early stages. \u0000Objectives: To evaluate the screening program in detecting breast cancer in the Al-Warith screening center, Karbalaa, Iraq, from 1/8/2023 to 1/5/2024.\u0000Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among 510 Iraqi women who came to the outpatient breast clinic. Their demographic information related to the current research was selected randomly; it was taken from the medical records in the statistics unit in the hospital. The collected data were coded and entered into SPSS 16.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 22.0 by IBM) (SPSS for Windows, Rel. 22.0., 2016, SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). The categorical data were analyzed by frequency and percentage.\u0000Results: 167 were screened, representing 32.75% of the total mean age (54.3±13.20) years old. Clinical screening identified normal findings in 87.50% of participants, while 4.17% had benign findings, and 8.33% were clinically screened and advised to review breast clinical recurrently. Ultrasound screening showed normal findings in 32.00% of patients and benign results in 60.00%, with 8.00% having BIRAD [4, 5] results. Mammography screening revealed normal findings in 40.43% of patients and benign results in 53.19%, with 6.38% having BIRAD [4, 5] results. Biopsies were performed on eight patients, resulting in 75.00% undergoing FNA and 25.00% undergoing True Cut Biopsy. Ultimately, breast cancer was detected in 1.20% of the asymptomatic patients screened.\u0000\u0000Conclusion: The data highlights the crucial role of regular screening for both asymptomatic and symptomatic women in the early detection of breast conditions. Raising public awareness is a vital strategy for healthcare providers. These efforts can greatly enhance the early detection and treatment of breast cancer and other related conditions. By following these recommendations, we can achieve better patient \u0000outcomes and improve overall public health.

The procedure for compulsory land acquisition in Ghana starts with the government declaring an intention to acquire any parcel(s) of land within the territory of Ghana and ends with the resolution of inconsistencies and conflicts arising out of the acquisition. The main objective of the study was to investigate the extent of participation by expropriated owners of the Nzema East Municipality and the Ellembelle District in the compulsory land acquisition process for the Western Corridor Gas Infrastructure Project. Underpinned by the citizen participation theory, the study adopted the mixed methods research design. The quantitative data was collected through a survey from sampled expropriated persons in 24 affected communities of the study area while the qualitative data was obtained through focus group discussions and key informant interviews. The study revealed that the mode of engagement between the expropriated persons and the expropriators was through information sharing, thereby limiting the participation exercise to the first rung of the citizen's participation theory. As a recommendation, the Lands Commission should improve community participation in the expropriation order by ensuring information flow and feedback at any stage of the acquisition process.
