Mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding can be increased through health education. Technology makes information easier to access, especially since the current COVID-19 pandemic has made direct contact communication avoided. This encourages the use of electronic-based learning media which contains visual elements and audio elements in the form of stop motion videos. The aim of this study was to know the effect of stop motion video on increasing knowledge of pregnant women on third trimester pregnant women. This research was a quasi- experimental study with Nonequivalent pre- test and post-test with control group design. This research was conducted from September 2021 until January 2022. The population was third trimester pregnant women who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sample are 18 women for experimental groups and 18 women for the control group. Data analysis using Mann-Whitney. The mean rank of knowledge in the experimental group was 21.81 and, in the control, group was 15.19 with p value = 0.046. This shows that there was an effect of giving intervention both in the experimental group and the control group, but the more influential in this study was the experimental group. There was effect of stop motion video about exclusive breastfeeding on increasing knowledge of pregnant women on third trimester pregnant women.","PeriodicalId":489165,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136106253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During a pandemic, relaxation with lavender aromatherapy requires innovation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using lavender aromatherapy masks on anxiety in the first stage of labour. The design of this study was a true experiment with a randomized controlled clinical trial. The intervention group wore lavender aromatherapy masks with a 100% concentration dose content of 0.08 ml for 120 minutes. The study sampled 40 samples. The results of the study were that there was an effect of lavender aromatherapy masks on anxiety in the first stage of labour (p=0.000) with an effect size (d=1.319). Using a lavender aromatherapy mask can minimize the increase of anxiety during the first stage of labour.","PeriodicalId":489165,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136106388","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the 2019 Indonesian Health Demographic Survey, the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia was 61.33%, but not all babies were breastfed on the first day until the third day. Efforts to increase breast milk production can be done through pharmacology and non-pharmacological therapies. Pharmacological therapy can be performed by consuming breast-feeding drugs, non-pharmacological therapy can be performed by providing breast acupressure. This study aim to find out the intervention procedures, the benefits of breast acupressure intervention on the increase in breast milk production. This was a systematic literature review. Literature searching conducted for articles used electronic databases of Science Direct, Pubmed, Google Scholar, and Scopus. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were further analyzed systematically. Based on the systematic review on 10 selected article, it was explained that breast acupressure could help increase breast milk production among postpartum women. Data for pregnant women in the third trimester of July 2021 - August 2021 at the Dadirejo Public Health Center are 72 people. This research uses total sampling. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was univariate, bivariate (Chi-square and likelihood) and multivariate (logistical regression) analysis. The proportion of postpartum contraceptive use was 52%. Knowledge level (p=0.000), perception (p=0.000) was related to the intention to use the PPIUCD. The variable that most influenced the intention to use the PPIUCD was the level of knowledge OR 15.315 (95% CI 3.337-69.4531; p=0.000). This study aims to analyze the factors that influence mothers in using postpartum contraceptives. This research method was quantitative with case control design. The study population was all puerperal mothers in 2021 with quota sampling techniques in the work area of Kokap I Public Health Center, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The subjects of this study were 33 mothers who used postpartum contraceptives and 33 mothers who didn’t use postpartum contraceptives. The results showed p<0.05 are parity, motivation and husband support had an influence on postpartum contraceptives use. Multivariate analysis of logistic regression showed motivation (OR=4,825), parity (OR=3,638) and husband support (OR=2,407).
