This research uses descriptive qualitative method using secondary data. The data is sourced from the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives, Bank Indonesia (BI), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the National Planning and Development Agency (Bappenas), national and international scientific journals and media sources. Slowly, the condition of MSMEs began to rise from the Covid-19 crisis through the PEN program policy which ran in September-December 2020, economic growth was better in the fourth quarter of 2020 by -2.19 percent (yoy), better than the growth in the third quarter 2020 by -3.49 percent (yoy). The distribution of the PEN program for MSMEs was successful and effective in maintaining the resilience of MSMEs from the Covid-19 crisis. The government needs to maintain economic momentum, through the synergy of MSMEs with State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), digitalization and the MSME global supply chain as well as increasing the PEN budget for MSMEs. On the other hand, the government still has a tough task to cut logistics costs which are still relatively high when compared to several ASEAN countries.","PeriodicalId":487350,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomi Bisnis dan Akuntansi (e-journal)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136343829","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Researchers use qualitative methods. Where this research uses context to explain phenomena, its analysis requires the use of critical thinking. Data sources are obtained from observations, interviews, literature and appropriate journals to guarantee the accuracy of research results. The results of this research are in increasing the production of food & beverage MSME owners in Ponorogo, most of whom are Muslims, who have been able to implement production processes that are in accordance with Islamic economics. MSME owners have indirectly fulfilled two goals in the production process, namely individual self-sufficiency and also the surrounding community. Empowerment of food & beverage MSMEs in Ponorogo is seen from three dimensions, namely the initial stage which is carried out by building a favorable environment where potential communities can develop with new innovations that are created by business owners. Furthermore, in terms of strengthening empowered communities, chicken & duck food & beverage business owners are still self-taught. Meanwhile, in terms of financial support, it is very helpful for the community to be empowered and can be relied on by the community if at any time they need emergency funds. By assessing these three dimensions, empowering the people from increasing the production of duck & chicken food & beverage MSMEs in Ponorogo is very beneficial and able to make individuals and the surrounding community develop.","PeriodicalId":487350,"journal":{"name":"Ekonomi Bisnis dan Akuntansi (e-journal)","volume":"321 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135586691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
