This article aims to analyze various leader theories that have been developed by leadership experts in the context of the development of individual characteristics. The method used in this research is library research. This data was collected using documentation techniques from scientific journal articles that have been published online and books that match the theme. This article explores classical and contemporary theories of leadership, such as Great Man theory, situational leadership theory, charismatic leadership theory, and transformational leadership theory. We also conduct a critical analysis of these theories, focusing on how they link the development of individual characteristics to a person's ability to be an effective leader. A golden generation can be obtained by implementing character education through attitudes and habits. This research uses a qualitative description method to analyze how character education is instilled at SMP IT AT TAQWA. In this research, there were respondents from mrs. Menik as deputy head of public relations and student affairs with whom we received information for writing this article. To collect information, researchers conducted in-depth interviews and observations. The in-depth interview aims to find out opinions and how to instill character education in students. Observations were carried out to collect information about the cultivation of character education at SMP IT AT TAQWA. This educational institution implements character education through competencies (attitudes) and habits by carrying out various activities that are rarely available in other educational institutions. Competence (attitude) is applied through discipline, one of which is before entering class by using fingerprints. Then the habit is to perform the Dhuha prayer before learning begins. And through the implementation of paperless, without a bell and other independent activities. This type of research is quantitative, quasi-experimental method. The research design used was Pretest-Pottest Control Group Design. With the research sample, namely class XI IPS I as the experimental class and class XI IPS 2 as the control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 60 people. Based on the results of this research, the learning outcomes of the experimental class were higher than the control class. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental class of 86.78, while in the control class the result was 72.78. The t-test results were t count (6.807) < t table (1.672). So, H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Therefore, the formation of teaching materials should be aligned with the learning model that will be used. This research aims to identify students' needs for problem based learning LKPD as teaching materials in learning activities. The method used in this research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative and qualitative approach. The data collection technique was through interviews with 2 chemistry teachers in Class X Phase E of SMA and distributing questionnaires to 55 students in Class X Phase E of SMA. The results of the interviews showed that teachers had never used problem based learning LKPD in learning activities. Apart from that, student learning outcomes are still low because students have difficulty understanding the learning material. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods (Quasi Experimental Design) with a research design in the form of a nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique with a sample size of 56 students divided into control class, namely class XII IPS 2 and experimental class, namely class XII IPS 3 with a total of 28 students in each class. The data in this research are learning outcomes tests in the form of Pretest and Posttest. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and N-Gain test. The results of this research showed that the average posttest score for the experimental class was 86.25 and the control class was 74.36. In the experimental class, an increase in N-Gain knowledge was obtained by 0.725, which is in the high category. Meanwhile, in the control class, an increase in N-Gain knowledge was obtained by 0.431, which is in the medium category. Mathematics is taught from elementary school age with the aim of training a person's thinking power, which makes them creative in solving problems, so that it can increase students' interest in learning. Based on the results of observations carried out at SDN 23 Ampenan, it was found that class I mathematics learning outcomes were very low under KKM and students lacked enthusiasm in the learning process. When learning is taking place there are still many students who do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation during learning because the teacher does not use a learning model and only uses a conventional model so that learning is teacher-centred. Thus, 80% of student learning outcomes are below the average or KKM and only 20% of students achieve the KKM score. Therefore, a learning model is needed that involves student activity during the learning process. Therefore, researchers took a problem based learning model to overcome this problem. As a result, an initial investigation was undertaken within this research, comprising a review of existing literature and on-site data collection. The research carried out was a type of qualitative descriptive research. Research data was obtained from analyzing teacher needs through interviews and analyzing student needs through filling out questionnaires. The PjBL integrated e-module developed consists of text, images, videos, interactive quizzes, and assignment collection templates via g-form. The development of e-modules is aimed at supporting students to learn independently. During its creation, the e-module made use of the Flip PDF Professional software application. A requirement assessment was conducted to gather insights about the physics learning procedure, the utilization of instructional resources in physics education, and the requisites of students and educators for educational materials (e-modules). From the needs analysis of 51 classes, As many as 80% of students felt that the teacher's explanation alone was not enough. Apart from that, 86% of students need a long time to understand the material on climate change and global warming. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Methods of data collection in this study using pretest and posttest. The data in this study were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the control group obtained sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05 means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, and the experimental group is sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05 means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that the application of the VAK (Visualization, Audiotory, Kinesthetic) learning model is effective in improving PAI and BP learning outcomes in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tigo Nagari, Pasaman Regency.
