During the hydrogenation process, different types of wastes are formed, depending on the nature of each compound contained in petroleum distillates. Every gas, liquid, solid waste formed during the process of hydrogen purification of petroleum distillates by the oil refining industry has a negative impact on the environment in various ways. One of the main directions of our scientific research is the ecological assessment of the environmental impact of wastewater formed in the process of hydrogen treatment of petroleum distillates.Based on the results obtained, the environmental impact of the wastewater was assessed. The amount of volatile ecotoxicants in the wastewater sample was determined by spectral methods and is shown in the table. We used gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons; optical emission spectrometry method for metals; spectrometry method for phenols, dyes and fluorine; nephelometry method for turbidity; the gravimetry method for total suspended particles. Based on the results obtained, it is possible to assess the environmental impact of wastewater generated during the technological process at the hydrogen treatment plant. According to the results of the research, it can be noted that the industrial wastewater discharged from the oil refinery's facility № 501 has a content that will damage the ecosphere and biosphere, despite the fact that the discharge standards meet the permissible discharge limits","PeriodicalId":480979,"journal":{"name":"Azerbajčan himiâ žurnaly","volume":"37 40","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134954612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is shown that during sulfonation of mixed raw materials, the yield of sulfonic acids is 89-93%, the content of hard-to-recycle waste - acid tar is lower than during sulfonation of petroleum oil by 30-35%. The influence of the ratio of ingredients in the initial mixture on the indicators of neutral sulfonate was studied and the conditions for obtaining additives of the required quality were found. The properties of the developed additives in M-11 oil at a concentration of 5% were studied by standard methods. The composition and structure of sulfonates were studied by elemental analysis and IR spectroscopy. The resulting additives have a micellar structure. The results of laboratory tests have shown that neutral, medium - and highly alkaline semi-synthetic calcium sulfonates have high physico-chemical and functional properties. The neutral sulfonate is superior in yield, active substance content, and dispersing properties to NСК petroleum sulfonate and OLOA 246B additive. Medium- and high-alkaline additives in terms of physicochemical and detergent properties are at the level of commercial petroleum sulfonates C-150, C-300 and Hightech 6060M additives, and surpass them in dispersing, anti-corrosion properties and stability against oxidation. Alkaline semi-synthetic calcium sulfonates have a high stability of the colloidal dispersion to the action of water and have better performance compared to analogues. With an increase in the alkalinity of the obtained additives, the physicochemical properties improve, which is associated with the features of their colloidal structure. Using the developed neutral and high-alkaline additives as detergent-dispersant components, experimental motor oils М-10DM and М-10G2, were prepared, which meet the requirements in terms of quality. The high efficiency of semi-synthetic sulfonates allows them to be used in modern motor oils","PeriodicalId":480979,"journal":{"name":"Azerbajčan himiâ žurnaly","volume":"37 7","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134954453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conflicting data make it difficult to select a suitable modifier for the use as part of a three-way catalyst in the exhaust treatment system of gasoline-powered cars, whose function is to simultaneously convert CO, CxHy and NOx. In this work, the effect of europium-modified Pt-containing γ-Al2O3 -based catalyst on its physicochemical properties and activity in the oxidation of CO, CxHy, and NOx reduction processes was evaluated. The catalytic activity was evaluated by passing a gas mixture simulating the exhaust of a gasoline-powered car through the catalyst applied onto the surface of a cylindrical honeycomb block with simultaneous measurement of the degree of conversion of toxic components into relatively non-toxic CO2, N2 and H2O in the temperature range from 1000C to 4000C. By potentiometric research, the physicochemical feature of the catalase and peroxidase biomimetic sensor was studied, the transducer of which was Ag. Rapid and accurate determination of hydrogen peroxide is very important, but no less important side of this issue is associated with the determination of trace amounts of C2H5OH in aqueous media of various origins. The need to develop express methods for determining the concentration of C2H5OH in aqueous solutions follows from the requirements for the quality of wine and alcohol products. As you know, the taste and drinking qualities of the product depend on the ratio of methyl and ethyl alcohols. In this work, biomimetic sensors of the catalase and peroxidase types based on an Ag electrode were developed for determining trace amounts of hydrogen peroxide and ethanol. Biomimetic sensors of the catalase and peroxidase types based on an Ag electrode have been developed for the determination of microquantities of hydrogen peroxide and ethyl alcohol. The applicability of a biomimetic sensor for determining trace concentrations of hydrogen peroxide, as well as for determining microquantities of ethyl alcohol in an aqueous solution with a low detection limit, high sensitivity, wide recognition range, high stability, and repeated use, is shown. In this work, the extraction of aluminum from kaolin in the process of leaching using an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid as a leaching agent is investigated. For this study, samples of burnt kaolin clay from the Chovdardagh deposit were used. Before leaching, crude kaolin was calcined; calcination achieves dehydroxylation of kaolinite, which is the main mineralogical phase of kaolin, and its transformation into metakaolin, an amorphous phase of Al-Si, from which aluminum is easily leached. The calcination of the raw kaolin used in this work was carried out at 7500C for 2 h, taking into account that these conditions were recognized as optimal in the corresponding experimental studies to achieve the maximum yield of alumina in solution. It was revealed that the leaching of kaolin clay in order to extract aluminum oxide is achieved using samples of kaolin clay calcined under the above conditions, with 20% hydrochloric acid for 2 hours at a leaching temperature of 950C. The degree of extraction of aluminum and iron oxide under these conditions is 96.7 and 94.1%, respectively","PeriodicalId":480979,"journal":{"name":"Azerbajčan himiâ žurnaly","volume":"38 40","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134953637","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Optimal conditions for obtaining target products in these reactions are revealed.
