Today, branding has taken an important place in the activities of modern companies, fundamentally combining the tools of marketing activities and strengthening the influence on the consumer due to the search, development and use of effective brand strategies. The purpose of branding is to find methods of influence on consumer consciousness that create a desirable perception of goods, services, companies and favorably distinguish them from the goods and brands of competitors. The indicator of the effectiveness of this process is the formation of brand capital of the brand, which significantly affects the establishment of the price of the brand. At the same time, subjective factors have a significant influence on the formation of the brand price, which can lead to different results. The article is devoted to the study of issues of brand capital formation, definition and assessment of brand components from the point of view of finding assets and their influence on the final price of the brand. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the specificity and relationship between the structural elements of brand equity and the price of the brand; determining and taking into account the factors involved in setting and adjusting the price of the brand. Method (methodology). In the research process, general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, generalization and comparison were used. Results. The most popular approaches – marketing and financial – are analyzed in relation to understanding the essence of the concepts «brand capital», «brand consumer capital», «brand price». The main directions of creation and maintenance of consumer capital of the brand were analyzed, their role and significance in the calculation of the brand price were evaluated. The relationship between capitalization and brand price was studied using appropriate pricing methods. Conclusions. The main methods of evaluating the value of brands in the direction of forming their market price are disclosed. The principles of debt security are an important component of the financial stability of territorial communities. Due to the fact that many territorial communities have significant debt obligations, their ability to be financially sustainable and provide quality social and economic services may be limited. Therefore, it is important to determine the principles that will ensure the debt security of territorial communities. The purpose of the scientific research. The goal is to substantiate the principles of debt security of territorial communities in Ukraine, as an important direction of the debt policy of local self-government bodies. Research methods. The following methods were used in the course of the research: analysis, synthesis and generalization. The main results of the study. The peculiarities of debt sustainability and debt security are considered, and their differences are determined. The approaches of financial and political organizations to the interpretation of debt security of territorial communities are highlighted, on the basis of which the own vision of the studied definition was formed, which is considered as the ability of a territorial community, or a local self-government body, which is its executive body, to ensure the optimal amount of debt by maintaining an appropriate level of credit rating and solvency in terms of servicing and repaying debt obligations with the subsequent ability to carry out economic activity. General theoretical approaches are highlighted that reveal the essence of debt security of territorial communities, among which it is worth highlighting: economic, financial, macroeconomic, social, business, political, managerial, legal, integrated, ecological, innovative, communication, socio-economic, geographical, cultural. Each of these approaches reflects different aspects of debt security of territorial communities and considers it from different positions. The main tasks that must be solved by the debt security of territorial communities are highlighted, which include: reducing the debt burden, ensuring the stability of the budget, developing the investment potential, maintaining the credit rating. The main methods of assessing the debt security of territorial communities are defined, which include: analysis of financial statements, assessment of economic potential, credit assessment, analysis of state policy in the field of regulation of debt policy of local self-government bodies, risk assessment. {"title":"Formation of the human capital development mechanism of machine-building enterprises on the basis of digitalization","authors":"Kateryna Boiarynova, Viktoriia Melnychuk","doi":"10.35774/econa2023.02.175","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35774/econa2023.02.175","url":null,"abstract":"The article presents the mechanism of human capital development, which takes into account the peculiarities of the functioning of machine-building enterprises, ensures the parallel development of digital skills, knowledge, digital intellectual potential in combination with technical and technological support, includes organizational measures and economic support for their implementation. Several factors affecting the development of human capital in the conditions of digitalization of the economy are identified. The factors of organizational direction that determine the development of human capital of machine-building enterprises include the implementation of the strategy for the development of the digital economy of Ukraine, demand for digital services, the development of remote work, the spread of devices and access to high-speed Internet, and the factors of economic direction - the reduction of the cost of digital technologies, the acceleration of turnover of funds thanks to e-commerce, capital return and asset productivity, reduction of transaction costs. The article describes several principles on which the human capital development mechanism should be based: the principles of proactivity, adaptability, perspective, progressiveness, comprehensiveness and economy. These principles are correlated with measures for the development of human capital. It is substantiated that the mechanism involves the use of modern tools provided by Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 technologies, as well as methods of proactive development of human capital. The framework of digital competencies and roadmaps for the integration development of human capital and the implementation and implementation of digital strategies are defined as an effective tool for engineering enterprises in the implementation of the development of human capital based on digitalization. A set of measures for the development of human capital has been substantiated and disclosed, which includes: the formation and systematic monitoring of digital competencies with the involvement of employees who correspond to them; creation and use of a corporate university, ensured both by the involvement of employees and the use of internally formed knowledge and abilities of own employees; renewal of tangible and intangible assets for digitization, development and adaptation of human capital by implemented digital strategies. The format of the proposed corporate university, which will involve comprehensive training of various groups of employees, exchange of experience and the use of various digital tools and VR/AR simulators, is detailed. Economic support for the proactive development of human capital is disclosed. Digitization strategies are defined, which should be aimed at the development of human capital of machine-building enterprises. The purpose of the work is to identify the content of the tasks, the solution of which is entrusted by society to a professional accountant based on the performance of functions delegated to accounting. The methodology of the research is based on the use of general scientific and specialized methodological techniques. The analysis method was used to identify the tasks that a professional accountant must solve to implement the functions of the accounting system. On the basis of bibliographic research, relevant approaches proposed by scientists and practicing specialists to ensure the conditions for the development of the accounting profession were identified. The method of abstraction ensured the establishment of algorithmic features of measures that are implemented to achieve accounting goals. On the basis of modeling, the essence of the accounting interpretation of economic processes is revealed, which contributes to the disclosure of data that stakeholders of enterprises are interested in obtaining. The results of the research, their use and conclusions. It was established that the activity of professional accountants involves the implementation of a complex of identification, interpretation and evaluation measures. The result of identification measures is recognition by a professional accountant of the fact of the existence of the grounds necessary for the identification of the components of the subject area of accounting (assets, liabilities, equity, income and expenses). The above gives reason to state that the content of business operations in the context of accounting consists in changing the amount of assets and sources of their formation. Based on this interpretation, a professional accountant discloses both the company's activity itself and its results in reporting forms for a wide range of users. At the same time, any changes in accounting objects take place due to the recognition of their impact on the elements of equity capital based on the recognition of income and expenses. Evaluation measures performed by a professional accountant are aimed at obtaining characteristics of the volume of information that must be registered in the accounting system, its content and value, as well as its compliance with user’s expectations. The implementation of the specified measures by a professional accountant contributes to the implementation of behavioral, analytical and evaluation functions of the accounting system. The sectoral analysis of Ukraine's export reduction is presented. In order to determine the readiness and possibility of expanding the company's activities to the export market, criteria are proposed with a detailed description of issues for evaluating and analyzing its goods or services. The purpose of the article is to highlight the state of foreign economic activity in Ukraine and the impact of the full-scale Russian invasion on export activity. Also, the purpose of the article is to determine the criteria that will help the company assess its readiness to enter foreign markets. The method (methodology) of research includes a number of general scientific research methods, namely: the method of theoretical generalization, the abstract-logical method, and the method of grouping. The results. The described criteria are considered through the lens of martial law, which is quite relevant today. Every enterprise in Ukraine has suffered losses, one of the most effective ways to compensate material losses is to enter new markets. Namely, the conquest of foreign consumers. The article examines the theoretical principles and practical approaches to the formation and management of distribution channels of an agricultural enterprise. The necessity of coordination of planning processes and functioning of each participant of the channel of distribution of agricultural products and functions, and, accordingly, the profit, as a reward for their performance, among the participants of the marketing channel is proven. Goal. The purpose of the article is to generalize the theoretical principles and practical approaches to the development of an algorithm for the formation and management of the product distribution channel by an agricultural enterprise with an orientation to long-term partnership between participants. Method (methodology). The following scientific methods of knowledge are used in the article: theoretical generalization, systematization, logical-structural, comparative and cause-and-effect analysis when formulating tasks, conclusions, as well as clarifying the concepts that determine the process and structure of product distribution, substantiating the requirements for the product distribution management model on agricultural enterprise levels; when systematizing and clarifying the principles of management of distribution channels; general scientific methods of research - analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, formalization of criteria in the development of a management model for the distribution channel of agricultural products. The results. Approaches to the formation and management of product distribution channels are summarized, their advantages and disadvantages are systematized, on the basis of which the most rational algorithm for their formation by an agricultural enterprise is substantiated. The need to take into account the peculiarities of agricultural production and other factors that affect the organization of distribution channels has been proven. When analyzing them, it is advisable to list them in order of decreasing their impact on productivity. In order to evaluate the marketing channel of distribution, it is advisable to form an appropriate system of indicators and set their threshold values. The main principles of distribution channel management are systematized, which will allow implementing a marketing approach in distribution management. Qualitative interrelationships of changes in distribution channel parameters with changes in the resulting indicators of channel functioning have been determined, which should be calculated and given an economic interpretation, with the aim of forming a generalized opinion about the rational structure of the distribution channel and directions for its optimization. The algorithm for forming the distribution channel is substantiated, which is based on the use of the advantages of the analyzed methods and consists of several stages, each of which includes several sublevels and has an iterative nature. Children are of special importance to every society as they are the basis of the future of the nation. Protection of the legal rights and interests of children has always been one of the priority tasks of the country. Due to the regulated legal framework and powers, the state is obliged to provide every child with a dignified life and create conditions for its comprehensive development. However, there are situations when children are left without parental care for various reasons, then it is quite difficult for them to assert their own rights and interests. Under such circumstances, the state undertakes to maintain and raise such children, i.e. orphans and children deprived of parental care. Unfortunately, according to the Ministry of Social Policy, as of 2022, there were almost 70,000 orphans and children deprived of parental care in Ukraine, and about 10,000 children become orphans every year. Knowing that we are now living in a difficult time, a time of war, we understand that the number of orphans and children deprived of parental care will increase even more, so the state must provide every child with the necessary protection and care that is necessary for their well-being, taking into account her guardians or other persons responsible to her by law, and to this end take all appropriate measures to give the child the opportunity to develop comprehensively and adapt to life in society. Based on the above, there is a need to study the basic principles of the state's social policy regarding the protection of social orphans in Ukraine. The aim of the article is to analyze the features of the state policy in the field of social security for orphans and children deprived of parental care in Ukraine and, accordingly, to identify the problems of its implementation and suggest ways of improvement. Methodology. The theoretical basis of this article is based on scientific approaches to the study of state policy issues in the field of social protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care in Ukrainian and foreign scientific publications. Results. It has been established that the provision of monetary assistance to orphans and children deprived of parental care is classified according to two main criteria: depending on the age of this category of children, or depending on the form of placement of such a child. Based on the analysis of the foreign experience of social protection of orphans, promising measures and directions for the introduction of new technologies within Ukraine were identified. The greater the uncertainty in making a business decision, the greater the degree of risk. It is virtually impossible to eliminate risks in the course of business activities, as they are an element of objective reality. However, it is possible to neutralize or minimize them through timely managerial decision-making. It is substantiated that decision-making on entrepreneurial risk management requires a structured approach, and therefore, the formation of a clear algorithm of actions. It is emphasized that both in the world practice and in Ukraine, corporate risk management standards have been introduced. It is emphasized that with the transformational changes in the economy, accelerated development of digitalization and an active offer of business risk assessment software products, these standards are losing their value every day. It is proved that the current DSTU ISO 31000:2018 \"Risk Management. Principles and Guidelines\" needs to be modified. Principles and Guidelines\" should be modified by supplementing the standard with a clear algorithm for building a risk portfolio and briefly describing each of its stages. It is proved that the introduction of the proposed amendments to DSTU ISO 31000:2018 \"Risk Management. The key to the development of any country is the provision of energy carriers for production facilities and households. A number of problems are observed in the domestic energy industry, from unsatisfactory technical equipment to a shortage of exhaustible fuel resources. Russia's military aggression, the destruction of domestic energy facilities, the insufficient efficiency of the use of fuel and energy resources pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine. Also, a serious challenge for the country is the need to reduce CO2 emissions, as the world is on the verge of an environmental disaster. Today, renewable energy is given great importance, which in the future may even supplant traditional energy, because on February 24, 2022, the countdown began not only to Ukraine's military victory over the Russian invader, but also to its energy independence. During the bloody war, the value of renewable energy sources was transformed from more ecological to security and economic. The purpose of the article is to determine the prospects and positive impact of the use of renewable energy sources in Ukraine. Method (methodology). The methodological basis is made up of the fundamental provisions of the theory of public administration, which determines the regularities of the socio-economic development of the state, the formation and functioning of mechanisms of state regulation of the development of \"green\" energy. The results. The article examines the issue of the development of renewable energy sources as the main factor of Ukraine's energy independence. The main aspects of the work of \"green\" energy on the objects of the energy infrastructure, which work on exhaustive sources of energy, have been determined. The advantages of the development of renewable energy during the war, in the context of economic threats, price policy, blackouts, etc., are considered. It was determined that the war has a significant negative impact on the work of the Ukrainian energy industry, because due to its economic, humanitarian and geopolitical importance, energy infrastructure objects are particularly frequent targets of Russian aggression. It has been studied that the implementation of wind, solar, bio- and hydropower preserves the thermal balance of the planet, there is no additional emission of carbon dioxide, and more favorable ecological conditions for life on the planet have been created. The geography of the location of TNCs was studied, where the largest number of them are located in the USA and China. The sectoral orientation of TNCs was analyzed according to their main field of activity (most corporations are employed in the banking sector). The ten most expensive multinational corporations were studied, with Amazon, Apple, and Google in the top three. The dynamics of the value of the TOP 10 corporations for 2019-2023 were analyzed. Over the past five years, an increase in the value of most TNCs has been observed.
