Technology is crucial in terms of time, cost, and easy access to information, especially in activities like health tourism. The ability to imitate human intelligence forces us to position Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications with a fundamentally different approach. Artificial intelligence may help produce more focused results in a variety of ways, notably by analyzing the advantages. This paper discusses some of the most significant potential and obstacles associated with applying AI to health tourism. The research aims to explore the utilization of AI as a new trend to strengthen health tourism applications in Egyptian tourist destinations. The methodology of the study was based on descriptive analysis using 117 questionnaires distributed to stakeholders in medical tourism. Several statistical methods were used in the research. The results indicate that the government is standardizing digital infrastructure and data collection in order to improve interoperability and simplify the implementation of AI-powered health services across healthcare systems. This study recommends that the government implement the first AI strategy, the Egypt Artificial Intelligence Strategy, encourage enterprises to invest in AI, and promote public-private collaborations in the fields of AI and health. It is necessary to provide virtual platforms to coordinate health care services before, during, and after they are obtained, allowing customers to have a complete experience, including initial inquiries, coordination with service providers, and follow-up after receiving the service, as well as incorporating sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into medical tourism","PeriodicalId":476743,"journal":{"name":"Minia Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research MJTHR","volume":"78 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141234556","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study model was established and tested using 474 responses from five-star hotels (26 hotels) and travel agencies (65 travel agency) in Egypt's Greater Cairo area using the PLS-SEM approach. Results revealed that employees' perception of organizational politics positively influences job insecurity; authentic leadership negatively influences the perception of organizational politics and job insecurity and negatively moderates the relationship between organizational politics and job insecurity. The study offers comprehensive theoretical and practical insights into organizational politics in the Egyptian hospitality and tourism sector. It also emphasizes the role of authentic leadership in fostering workplace social exchange and enhancing employees' sense of job security. Hospitality and tourism organizations can create a culture of trust and security, effectively mitigating the negative effects of perception of organizational politics on employee well-being and job security. However, sustainable tourism planning in terrestrially protected areas is critical for balancing conservation goals, socioeconomic growth, and tourist happiness. Uncontrolled visitation, ecological deterioration, and cultural exploitation all pose significant hurdles to tourist sustainability in these locations. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the current state of sustainable tourism planning for Egypt's terrestrially protected areas, with a particular emphasis on analyzing existing policies, strategies, and practices in relation to international standards and best practices. The methodology of the study was based on descriptive analysis using 108 questionnaires distributed to environmental researchers for Environmental Affairs Agencies in the governorates of Cairo and the Red Sea. Several statistical methods were used in the research via SPSS V.25. The findings emphasize the importance of stakeholder engagement, improved regulatory frameworks, and incorporating community participation and environmental conservation concepts into tourism planning processes. Finally, research seeks to support evidence-based decision-making, foster stakeholder engagement, and contribute to the long-term management of Egypt's terrestrial protected areas. By providing actionable insights and recommendations aim to guide policymakers, government agencies, conservation organizations, local communities, and other stakeholders in implementing sustainable tourism practices that promote the long-term ecological integrity and","PeriodicalId":476743,"journal":{"name":"Minia Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research MJTHR","volume":"5 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141394228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
