This qualitative study examines beliefs shaping fertility decisions among 29 Emirati postgraduate social work students. Findings highlight the influence of religion, culture, economics, and gender and stress the vital role of social workers in informing policies that reflect youth realities. The study examines the knowledge of social workers and social work students about HIV, attitudes towards people living with HIV, and willingness to provide social services. The study used an HIV knowledge survey (n = 314). The percentage of correct answers to knowledge questions was 70.3% among social workers and 64.5% among students. Only 50.1% of students and 40% of social workers are willing to provide services. Twenty-one empirical studies were analyzed. The findings reveal four main dimensions of risk: (1) risk factors in interpersonal relationships; (2) risk factors associated with physical, mental, and emotional health; (3) risk factors related to access to housing, employment, and resources; and (4) risk factors linked to discrimination and intersectionality. However, for survivors with strong religious affiliations, social workers are not the only actors involved. This study aimed to retrospectively explore the help-seeking experience of Ultraorthodox survivors of intimate partner violence who received help from social workers and rabbis.
