Unified categorization of special needs conditions and the availability of comprehensive facts and knowledge about each category of special needs conditions have become major problems in the field of special education. It is, therefore, necessary to develop an ontology for special needs conditions that will unify the knowledge and fact about special needs conditions to support various decision-making in the special education domain. Hence, this research builds a formal ontology for special needs conditions that unifies the major categories of special needs conditions which are disability and giftedness, and talentedness, and includes various assistive technology that is applicable to each nature of special needs conditions. The knowledge engineering method was used to build the ontology while the language of formalization is Description logic. Web ontology language in protégé was used to implement the work and evaluated with competency questions in form of simple queries. This ontology can be adopted in all special education domains to forestall the problem of information overloading and inconsistency. An estimated 70% of Nigerian populace feed essentially on rice, with about 30% of their cereal-based diets also derived from rice. The constraints faced by the rice farmers in Nigeria are: inaccessible road, high cost of transportation, inadequate credit, birds' invasion, inadequate extension support and inaccessibility to cheap farm inputs. Prominent among these is that of birds' invasion especially the quela bird. This has been one of the major constraints in Africa especially Nigeria, leading to 48–100% yield reduction and sometimes complete crop failure, thereby threatening food security. To tackle this challenge, women and children are sent to the fields to guard against birds. But this also has serious consequences because it adds to the women’s workload and keeps children away from school. Some farmers through the help of state and federal government use air plane to spray chemicals. However, this is costly and may not available at all time. Some farmers have adopted the use of other methods like cassette tape, the scarecrows method, the castanets method, and the use of nets. With all these methods, yet farmers complain of birds’ invasion. This is attributed to the fact that all these methods have not been able to mimic human being in totality. So, very rapidly, the birds adapt to the method and it becomes less efficient. This work proposes the use of use Arduino Nano Technology for the design of robotic system for rice farmers against birds' invasion in Nigeria. Demonstration was carried out in Igbemo Ekikti Farm, Ekiti State, Nigeria. The performance evaluation was based on production and Cost/Benefit Analysis. The results show a better performance over the use of human and cassette tape. Keywords: Birds’ invasion, Robotic System, Cost, Profit, Arduino Nano Journal Reference Format: Akingbesote, A.O. In the domain of oil and gas reservoir management, underground pressure management is crucial to maximize the yield and efficiency of the reservoir. However, the heterogeneity of the reservoir, along with uncertainties in its properties, makes pressure management a complex and challenging task. To address this issue, researchers have proposed Physics-Informed Deep Learning (PIDL) techniques that incorporate domain-specific knowledge, such as the governing physical equations, into the deep learning framework. Particle Swarm Optimized-Physics-Informed Deep Learning (PSO-PIDL) is a novel hybrid approach that combines PSO with PIDL to optimize the pressure management of heterogeneous oil and gas underground reservoirs. In this approach, the PSO algorithm is used to find the optimal solution for the PIDL-based model that incorporates the governing physical equations of the reservoir. PSO-PIDL can effectively handle the uncertainties and heterogeneity of the reservoir, while also incorporating the physical constraints of the problem. Overall, PSO-PIDL is a promising approach for optimizing the pressure management of oil and gas reservoirs. It can help reduce the operational costs and improve the efficiency of the reservoir, while also ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources. The sample for the study is made up of ninety (90) students from public tertiary institutions in Ekiti State. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select the ninety (90) respondents from the three (3) sampled higher institutions in the state. The study used a quasi-experimental research method to explore the relationship between variables. The quasi-experimental design for the study was the non-randomized pretest, post-test control group design. The instrument used for data collection was an English Writing Skill Performance Test. Three research questions were raised to guide the study and they were answered descriptively using mean and Standard Deviation. Four research hypotheses were formulated for the study and tested using t-test analysis of independent sample and a two way Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). Based on the data analysis, findings revealed that students that were exposed to blended learning instructional strategy significantly outperformed their counterparts who were exposed to technology supported method strategy and those taught using conventional method of teaching. Also, students who were exposed to technology supported method performed significantly higher than those taught using conventional method. It was further found that significant difference existed in gender performance with respect to the two strategies employed in the experimental group. While female students outperformed their male counterpart when been exposed to blended learning strategy, no significant difference existed when they were exposed to technology supported method. Lastly, the study concludes that there was significant effect of blended learning, technology supported and conventional methods on the tertiary students’ learning outcomes in post-test. government, in conjunction with curriculum developers, the federal and state government; other professional bodies like National Universities Commission should create resource centers that can sensitize other stakeholders in the educational sector on the efficacy of blended learning and technology supported learning approach. In recent times information and computing solutions are leveraged on the concept of Artificial Intelligence with regard to Artificial Neural Network, Machine Learning, Fuzzy logic, Deep learning and Robotic Science. Applications of AI solutions have being highly effective in all sectors of human endeavors. During the Covid 19 pandemic, AI applications resulted in the rapid development and implementation of solutions which ordinarily would have taken years to achieve especially in the area of vaccine. Despite the gains of AI, we realized that less emphasis is placed in this trending area of computer science by the educational systems in Africa especially at university level. This research seeks to demand for an urgent need for a review of our educational curriculum to include AI and other trending disciplines in the frontiers of Information Technology. A multidisciplinary cloud based research model was also formulated which can be adopted in our educational system to foster multidisciplinary research. This will improve quality and efficient research outputs from universities in Africa. The organization plays a role in the success of a company. Therefore, to successfully gain a competitive advantage over your competitor and avoid a steady decline in the productivity of your employees, you must ensure that the employees are properly motivated. The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of employee motivation on organizational productivity. We reviewed extant literature on employee motivation. theoretical antecedents, conceptual frameworks and empirical review were conducted to be able to identify knowledge gaps in literature. Our objective is to set the stage for further studies on motivation using an identifiable case study.
