Islamic boarding schools are no longer as simple as people describe them. Islamic boarding schools can experience changes according to the growth and development of the times. One of them is the khalafiyah or modern pesantren, which implements a classical teaching system by providing general knowledge and religious knowledge, as well as providing skills education. One of the Islamic boarding schools that use this education system is the Al Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Jambi City. The considerations made are related to the behavior patterns of MI students which need to be reformed and improved for the progress of Islamic boarding schools by applying patterns that are appropriate to student behavior. This study aims to obtain a good arrangement of spatial patterns for students to learn. The method is done by taking a simple random sample or called simple random sampling. Kambang Iwak is divided into two, namely the Kambang Iwak Besak Park (TKIB) and the Kambang Iwak Kecik Park (TKIK). Taman Kambang Iwak Kecik is behind the Taqwa grand mosque Palembang which has a pool that is ¼ the area of TKIB and has a green open space (RTH) which is quite small compared to TKIB. TKIK is surrounded by a 2.5 m wide pedestrian street that has many Tabebuya trees planted. With the fish pond and green open space, of course, the temperature and humidity of the environment affect the level of comfort in the room. Therefore this study aims to determine how much influence temperature and humidity have on the Taqwa Palembang Great Mosque. And descriptive analysis research method with an architectural approach. Data collection was carried out using Hobometers and anemometers. The data was analyzed by comparing it with the ASHRAE standard. Limited time for opening and closing doors can affect the flow rate of passengers, reducing the efficiency of using the elevator. This research aims to analyze the time required by the system for the lift door opening and closing process which will be explained using quantitative descriptive methods. The research method utilizes the time motion method with video recording system technology tools during the process of opening and closing the elevator doors in the KH Mas Mansyur Building, Kampung B, Muhammadiyah University, Palembang. For six days, the research was carried out during the busiest hours. The research results are expected to provide an in-depth understanding of the variables that influence door opening and closing times, such as door speed, passenger detection, and security mechanisms. This study focuses on activities in the communal area of a primary school to be analyzed according to the needs of users. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide solutions for related parties in the development of communal areas in accordance with their existing activities and conditions. Research is descriptive quality research with data collection through questionnaires, surveys and interviews from teachers/ school administrators. Sampling interviews to determine aspects of the needs of space users, literature studies to find out the standards and aspects needed to determine the factors that influence the design of communal areas, and the characteristics of users, the students. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that space optimization can be done by means of communal areas made with open-layout in order to facilitate student movement and can be used tentatively at certain times, it is also necessary to manage access times and types of student activities when there is a change of class or communal area activities, considering the limited space. However, many architectural problems have arisen in the flats of Palembang city. This problem is in the form of spatial deviation because its function is randomly adjusted to the needs of residents. This study aims to identify spatial program formulations that can be applied to flats planning based on user perceptions. The research method uses a combination method (mixed-methods), namely solving problems with significant data sets through a quantitative approach and testing subjects dynamically based on a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the application of user perceptions generates new space categories that are most likely to be applied to the planning process. The space category appears when several common spaces are separated in flat housing units. Dramaga's development can be seen from the growth of vertical commercial and residential buildings. The growth of vertical housing is based on the purpose of marketing to IPB students. Along of recent years, IPB students have increased which makes the rental housing market compete to provide residential facilities as Student Apartments. The growth number of IPB students was not followed by the growth of rental housing. Based on the research results, there are students who carefully decide where they want to live along their study. The Biophilic Design approach, being able to participate helps connect activity users (residents, managers, and visitors) to be active in social interaction. Not only the relationship between humans but also as an access to the relationship between humans and nature. Biophilic Design can also reduce student stress caused by activities while studying. The method in this research is direct observation, literature review and design analysis with the results of concrete concepts.
