The research highlighted the efficacy of these techniques in the South West Nigerian region, emphasizing their significance in shaping environmental policies. Despite the evident potential, challenges and limitations associated with these techniques were also identified. The study further provided suggestions for improved environmental conservation strategies and highlighted potential areas for continued research in the realm of applied geophysics. In conclusion, while applied geophysics offers promising tools for environmental conservation, a holistic approach, integrating both scientific and policy-driven strategies, is essential for sustainable conservation efforts in South West Nigeria.
