For long-term business sustainability, organizational resilience is nevertheless an important factor that enables SME businesses to mitigate the disruption caused by the innate uncertainty presented in the environment. This paper extends the research on the development of organizational resilience in the field of business management by doing a complete literature review and proposing a link between organizational resilience and firm performance. The findings of this study indicate that there is a considerable association between organizational resilience and firm performance. The proposed conceptual framework will make significant contributions to future studies.","PeriodicalId":472349,"journal":{"name":"Business Management and Strategy","volume":"33 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141034032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has altered how consumers view fashion, partly because of the isolation that has resulted, the decline in income, and the fear that comes with the situation. This health crisis has compelled consumers to change their way of life, impacting their attitudes and purchasing motivations. Results indicated that throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, participation in sustainability has deepened, (McKinsey, 2021) which validities with this study that limiting the harmful effects of climate change became more essential, according to two-thirds of the customers questioned. Since sustainability was already a big subject before, especially for generation Y and Z (millennials), this research would examine if the pandemic impacted customers' preferences towards sustainable fashion.The participants involved in this research were millennials from Italy and Netherlands, and the questionnaire poll was adapted from a McKinsey study (Granskog, et al., 2020). Statistical analyses are conducted to investigate the variations in consumer preferences before, during and after the pandemic. The study's findings emphasize a notable shift towards comfort over trendiness and a growing inclination towards sustainable choices. The findings underscore the need for adaptive marketing strategies in the fashion industry to align with evolving consumer behaviors in the post-pandemic era.","PeriodicalId":472349,"journal":{"name":"Business Management and Strategy","volume":"19 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140715840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, knowledge sharing is essential to maintaining an organization’s productivity and performance. This paper explores the dimensions of transformational leadership to promote knowledge sharing to examine leaders’ behaviors in organizations. This paper discussed new combined transformational leadership with six dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, empowerment, and personal recognition. These dimensions have the potential to influence knowledge sharing. By drawing on various previous studies, the paper constructs a conceptual framework and formulates six propositions to further address the impact of transformational leadership on knowledge sharing within organizations.","PeriodicalId":472349,"journal":{"name":"Business Management and Strategy","volume":"72 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140758795","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, waqaf institutions have not yet been seen as institutions that can solve the management and administration problems of waqaf land. This is because there are problems in terms of registration and good procedures including in the State of Malacca. This study will comprehensively look at the waqaf system according to the latest technological developments such as the use of Geographic Information System (GIS) software. The method of interviewing those who are directly involved with waqf institutions, namely Majlis Agama Islam Melaka (MAIM) officials, land administrators at land officers and local authority officials has been conducted. In addition, site visits are also carried out on waqaf land or buildings. The results of the study shows that many data and documents related to waqaf are incomplete and not updated as they should be. MAIM is facing difficulties in developing its waqaf land due to the problem. Finally, this study presents some suggestions that can help strengthen the management and administration of MAIM such as prioritizing the waqaf land database system like the use of Mapinfo software for recording purposes. It can only be achieved if the lack of integration, lack of coordination and waqaf procedures can be overcome, then waqaf land registration can be collected and consolidated.","PeriodicalId":472349,"journal":{"name":"Business Management and Strategy","volume":"10 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140790437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The educators employed diverse pedagogical approaches, including mindfulness exercises, storytelling sessions, and open dialogues centred on spiritual themes such as compassion and forgiveness. Implementing these strategies has been found to potentially enhance students' self-awareness, empathy, and sense of community, creating an educational environment that is ultimately more inclusive and secure for all individuals. The study clearly recognises the difficulties of putting a spiritual perspective into action. Experts in the field of education have proposed a number of solutions to these problems, including expanded opportunities for teacher training, more communication and cooperation among stakeholders, and flexible methods of instruction. Those in positions of responsibility in the field of education, such as administrators, teachers, and lawmakers, stand to gain greatly from considering the implications of the research findings. The results raise the possibility that schools with a stronger emphasis on spirituality have a positive effect on students' academic performance and well-being. To take advantage of these benefits, schools should put an emphasis on teacher preparation, promote teamwork, and craft a holistic strategy for integrating spirituality. Involving all parties is crucial in creating a welcoming and secure learning environment where kids may practise gratitude, empathy, and respect for one another. This research shows how spirituality can be included in classrooms to make for a more peaceful and empathetic learning environment. It also highlights the importance of taking a holistic approach to education that incorporates more than just academics.","PeriodicalId":472349,"journal":{"name":"Business Management and Strategy","volume":"50 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136136041","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The decisions and actions of doctors directly affect the quantity, quality, and price of health services. The mood of doctors will affect the work enthusiasm, which will affect the work engagement, and the work enthusiasm will directly affect the work efficiency and external service quality. The Chinese government hopes that every doctor in every hospital especially in public hospitals can have a good work engagement. It has become a very important issue to improve the work engagement of public hospitals in China. At present, many researches on work engagement are carried out under the western cultural background. In China, there are few researches related to the degree of involvement in China. Chinese work values are unique qualities of Chinese people. This conceptual study constructs a basic conceptual conceptual research framework through the JD-R model. By adding Chinese work values into the framework and proposing a new conceptual framework, the relationship between work demand, work resources and work engagement is adjusted. This conceptual study also provides valuable reference significance for future research on work engagement in Chinese public hospitals.","PeriodicalId":472349,"journal":{"name":"Business Management and Strategy","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136136043","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines the performance of ESG and corporate value under the COVID-19 scenario using panel data from 2018 to 2021. After collecting data from the Wind database, regression analysis was used to analyses the total ESG score, specific indicator scores and companies with various ratings. This study showed that sustainability - whether environmental (E), social (S) or governance (G) - contributes to enterprise value. It contributed to an increase in enterprise value for companies with high ratings, but had little impact on the enterprise value of companies with low ratings. In addition, the study was divided into two groups based on the duration of the pandemic to determine whether sustainability and firm value behaved differently under the influence of COVID-19. Even in the presence of COVID-19, the study found that the impact of sustainability on firm value was still favorable and significant. This study provides a detailed breakdown of ESG scores and regression analysis of individual indicators. Secondly a more detailed classification of companies was also carried out, with the study looking at companies according to different ratings, including AAA, AA, A, BBB, BB, B, CCC, CC, C.","PeriodicalId":472349,"journal":{"name":"Business Management and Strategy","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135743735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
