The human capital of mayors is operationalized in terms of the level of education (diploma), training, and age. The data in the study are from 46 councils in northern Cameroon, including 21 in the Adamawa region, 12 in the north, and 13 in the far north. After carrying out the preliminary statistical tests (multicollinearity and homoscedasticity) for the cross-sectional data, the result of OLS shows that the human capital of mayors has an effect on the investments of northern Cameroonian municipalities. Particularly, the level of education of mayor (as measured by the diploma) has positive effects on municipal investments. However, the coefficients of educational attainment and age of mayors are not significant. The result also shows that the coefficients of some control variables are statistically significant.\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000

ESG indexes consist of the companies that have a better concern in ESG. Each ESG index has its positive or negative performance compared to the combined stock index. This research aims to determine the impact of ESG Disclosure on firm value. The sample of this research covers 55 companies that have been listed in the ESG index in the 2017–2021 period. The data is collected from the Bloomberg database and processed with a panel data regression model using Stata 17. The finding of this research is that there is a positive but no significant impact between the ESG Disclosure Score and firm value. This finding will contribute to the previous study about the disclosure information of non-financial information and its impact on the firm’s value in the market.

To operationalization the relationship between the accounting information and systematic risk, a panel data analysis is conducted on stock analysis with a portfolio of higher beta stocks, moderate beta stocks, and lower beta stocks as well as overall stocks among the selected 154 listed companies in the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE). Within this application, the present study seeks to present empirical evidence on the relationship between accounting information and systematic risk in the Colombo Stock Market. The study found that the accounting variables significantly influence systematic risk. While accruals were not significant in influencing systematic risk, moreover, the study suggests accounting variables are well explained in the systematic risk and recommends using accounting-based risk factors other than market-based risk factor models in the Sri Lankan context.\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000

Supported by increased LNG supply and demand, a surge in LNG trading has been seen across the world, and there is no indication of slowing down in the near future. Those situations become the opportunity for an LNG seller who has the potential uncommitted LNG supply to be offered to the buyer. PPTETS (which is not a complete name of the company, but a real Singapore registered company), which is owned 100% by PPTET Ty (which is not a complete name of the company, but a real Japan registered company), which is a joint venture company between Pertamina and various Japanese utility & power companies, is required to anticipate that opportunity. With consideration of the dynamic changes in global LNG market development, PPTETS needs to formulate the company’s business strategy, which is intended to seize future business opportunities.\u0000The main objective of this research is to formulate a PPTETS LNG commercialization business strategy to generate profit and maintain sustainability in the global LNG market. The analysis will consider both primary and secondary data, with underlying theoretical for external factors such as PESTEL analysis and Porter’s Five Forces, while for internal factors analysis will utilize a resource-based view and VRIO. As a synthesis of the company’s internal and external analysis, SWOT analysis and TOWS matrix will then be utilized. Finally, based on the analysis and formulation that has been conducted, it could be concluded that PPTETS has the opportunity and capabilities to maintain its business sustainability by trading in the global LNG market. After considering several findings from both external and internal factors of primary and secondary data, aside from cost focus leadership as a generic competitive strategy, there are 3 (three) specific business strategies recommended to PPTETS in order to generate profit and maintain sustainability, which are (i) collaboration with Pertamina, (ii) developing PPTETS internal procedures, and (iii) further PPTETS’ business development.

The method used in this research is a quantitative method to collect inventory historical data from January 2022 to December 2022 obtained from the company’s ERP SAP. The data contains information of 6028 items of the MRO inventory. The collected data was analyzed using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point (ROP), Safety Stock (SS) and Average Inventory Level (AIL). By using Fixed Order Quantity model, the MRO inventory is calculated to compare the ideal and actual average inventory levels. From the analysis, the researcher found that the MRO inventory in Kuala Tanjung, PT Inalum, has a service level of 0.52, which is still far below the service level target of 0.95. At the same time, PT Inalum has the potential to reduce inventory by USD 5,402,389 or 58.2% of the inventory value. A hybrid methodology (qualitative and quantitative) was adopted to analyze the variables and their relationship thoroughly. The six members focus group was formed to discuss IT outsourcing, and the survey was conducted to collect 447 valid responses for data analysis. The six critical success factors were Perceived Information Security Risk, Quality of Service Provider, Contract Management, Internal Contract Experience, Communication and Regulatory Policy, identified to support satisfaction of Hong Kong FSI IT outsourcing after conducting the analysis. Three recommendations are proposed to improve IT outsourcing satisfaction based on the findings of critical success factors: (1) A Build-up of Vendor Evaluation Framework, (2) Enhancement for Knowledge Management, and (3) Enhance Performance Monitoring. The snowball sampling method might have introduced biased information. In future research, a more extensive research scale would be required to understand the whole population, which would be more appropriate for the industry to understand the need and construct any policy.
