Malioboro is one of the commercial and tourist centers in Yogyakarta city, historically known for its pedestrian-friendly pathways. Challenges such as pedestrian circulation issues, inadequate pedestrian facilities, conflicts between pedestrians and motorized vehicles, and problems with drop-off and stop zones for less organized transportation contribute to the low service quality in the Malioboro area. This study adopts a quantitative approach using direct observation and a questionnaire distributed to 132 pedestrian path users. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to understand the existing conditions, quality, and priority of pedestrian path services in the Malioboro area. The study results indicate that the service quality of pedestrian paths in Malioboro faces several challenges. Factors such as motor vehicle traffic density, lack of quality pedestrian infrastructure, and pedestrians' unsafe behavior contribute to the low service quality. The pedestrian satisfaction analysis using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) revealed a satisfaction rate of 69.19%, categorizing it as \"adequate.\" However, improvements in pedestrian path services are necessary based on the significance of the Malioboro area and its high appeal to pedestrians. The goal is to achieve good or even perfect satisfaction in terms of service quality. An analysis of interests was conducted, resulting in the identification of four quadrants with distinct characteristics. These quadrants serve as a valuable guide for enhancing the quality of pedestrian path services. Quadrant 1 encompasses attributes such as crossing facilities, CCTV surveillance, protection from weather conditions (rain, heat, cold), and parking convenience. Despite their high importance, these variables received low satisfaction ratings from respondents. Enhancing both the quantity and quality of these variables is crucial. Policymakers should pay special attention to these four variables and implement concrete measures to surpass the \"adequate\" assessment and attain better pedestrian service satisfaction. By implementing these measures, it is expected that Malioboro can serve as an example in supporting sustainable urban mobility by providing good and safe services for pedestrians. This study can also provide guidance and input for the government and relevant stakeholders in decision-making regarding pedestrian path infrastructure development in similar areas.","PeriodicalId":470409,"journal":{"name":"Astonjadro","volume":"23 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140509598","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The key methodology is a document review, of documents collected through action research by the author, until recently a resident suffering from the mis-location and mismanagement of the TPST, and active with the community in complaining and finally demanding its closure. The paper assesses the performance of applying for permission to build and operate the TPST, based on Indonesia Business Links principles of CSR, and assesses a failure in five of the seven principles. The paper questions the motives for inconsistencies and deceit uncovered, saying a response is beyond the scope of the paper. It sees Okta Golden, the author of the original paper, as a victim of the lack of social responsibility, It sees the regular requests for suffering neighbors to collaborate as inappropriate. This happens because the building projects mostly adopts a linear economic model of “take, make, dispose of”, using materials to the construction of buildings and disposing them at the end of life. This linear economic model only focuses on human activities because the disposal of materials ultimately does not become a sustainable practice in the future. For this reason, an alternative is needed in reducing and processing the construction waste by implementing circular economy principles. This study aims to identify type of construction waste in building project, provide recommendations for handling it with circular economy principles, and calculating the cost savings. The method that used in this study are field observation and interview for collecting data. The result showed that steel reinforcement, ready-mix concrete, light brick, ceramic, multiplex, spun pile, and anchor can be handled with circular economy principles are reduce, reuse, recycle, recovery, and repair. At the local government level, waste management services carried out demonstrate the sustainability of a city so that local governments are responsible for finding affordable waste management solutions with the least impact on the environment. North Lombok Regency has a waste management problem that results in the realization of its handling not reaching the target. To overcome the waste management problem, the local government initiated a priority development program \"Zero Waste North Lombok\" which is expected to address the existing problems. In the process, the implementation of the program has not run significantly. To support the achievement of the program, a study of the barriers to zero waste was conducted using the fuzzy DEMATEL method. This method is able to facilitate the identification of causal relationships between criteria assessed in complex systems so as to provide information on various perceptions for stakeholders. The 12 barriers identified were divided into two groups: influential barriers and receptive barriers. The influential barriers consist of lack of policies and regulations on waste, lack of cooperation among stakeholders, uncertainty about circular economy targets and strategies, and inadequate sanctions and fines. While the influential group of barriers consists of the barriers of lack of environmental awareness, inadequate recycling techniques, inadequate methods for sorting, transporting and recycling waste, lack of financial and economic assistance, lack of advertising and media coverage for waste management, lack of adequate areas for waste collection and sorting, lack of awareness about environmental protection and lack of temporary shelters.
