A Peruvian textile manufacturing company dedicated to the production of baby clothes was taken as a case study. In this case study, an in-depth diagnosis will be carried out to identify the causes that lead to the company's inability to fulfill orders on the defined dates. Once the causes have been identified, we will proceed to evaluate the methodologies to be implemented to increase the order fulfillment indicator. This study uses qualitative method, with semi-structured interviews conducted with three faculty members and managers of a high school in Linyi City. This study reveals that safety management in this school focuses on safety education and has set up monitoring systems, alarm systems, etc., and conduct safety drills from time to time. And regular feedback is given through summary meetings and other forms. There are still issues such as inadequate staffing, lack of cooperation between teachers and students, and lack of home-school contact and monitoring systems. As a result, various measures such as increasing security guards, setting up online monitoring platforms, and enhancing security knowledge education have been proposed. The findings of this study have implications for enhancing the level of security management in schools. The collaborative governance strategy is seen to be an option for resolving difficulties of coordination and communication between businesses, the government, and the community so that the goals of urban environmental management can be met via collaborative efforts. The purpose of this research is to identify the different forms of environmental CSR implementation by corporate entities and to create a CSR collaborative governance model in environmental management. This qualitative investigation was carried out in 2020 in Cilegon City, one of Indonesia’s industrial cities. To investigate their support, a total of 20 informants from three stakeholder groups, namely the government, corporate entities, and the community, were questioned. According to the study’s findings, CSR implementation in the environmental sector covers cleaner production, eco-office, energy and natural resource conservation, waste management, renewable energy, climate change adaptation, and environmental education. CSR implementation in the environmental potential to implement collaborative governance. Business entities have an essential role in establishing the starting condition, while the government provides facilitative leadership and the CSR forum launches institutional design. Furniture industry is an example of this trend since its growth is sustained by the exploitation of the forest from where the timber is extracted. High density polyethylene (HDPE) has been selected as a suitable alternative for wood because of its physical properties, economic benefits and environmental friendly characteristics. The reports will illustrate how furniture industry creates environmental pressure, aspects that will be affected by adopting the new sustainable philosophy, cost saving opportunities and example of best practices currently implemented. HDPE based furniture are made from the same material used in containers for milk, shampoo, oil and other products, which makes it highly recyclable. Furthermore, at the end of their working life the product can also be recycle, making them totally eco-friendly and economically profitable. Moreover, these products offer excellent resistance and longevity characteristics that closely resemble and exceed the ones found in real wood. Hence, this research aims to assess how Portuguese companies that make use of tax incentives for R&D activities on an ongoing basis behave in terms of promoting and appropriating value through innovation. From an initial population of 3,156 companies, a final database with 339 Portuguese companies that made use of fiscal credits from 2013 to 2016 was analyzed. The tax incentive program targeted was the Fiscal Incentive System supporting R&D in Enterprises (SIFIDE). Using the analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA), the main results suggest that, considering the internal resources, there are no statistically significant differences between the promotion and appropriation of value through innovation according to the size and age of companies. The data indicate that good management regarding the generation and implementation of innovations may occur independently of size and age of firms, in the Portuguese case. Albeit the averages of the indicators of value appropriation of the intangible (e.g. patents, trademarks, and new processes), and the efficiencies of assets and liabilities for the promotion of the intangible are different according to the level of technological intensity. These results point to the need to reevaluate the tax incentives for R&D activities, since its generic nature may not meet the different innovation needs arising from the distinctive characteristics of these enterprises and their technological dynamics.
