Informatization plays an important role in the development of green economy by the transmission of industrial structure rationalization and upgrading. Because of the spatial mobility of information, it is necessary to study the spatial spillover effect of information on the efficiency of green economy. In this article, the non-radial directional distance function and the comprehensive index method are used to evaluate the efficiency of green economy and informatization respectively. On this basis, the spatial characteristics of the two are analyzed. Finally, the spatial econometric model is used to analyze the spatial impact of informatization on the efficiency of green economy. The authors find that: (i)The spatial distribution of the green economy efficiency and informatization are unbalanced; (ii) There is a significant spatial spillover effect in the efficiency of green economy; and (iii) The development of informatization plays an important impact on the efficiency of green economy.","PeriodicalId":46306,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Global Information Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":4.7,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45596621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study instead investigates SNS envy, an essential emotion often experienced by users, and its relationship with cyberbullying intentions. The authors apply appraisal theory of emotion as a framework to conceptualize the effects of SNS envy, then propose two competing views: a direct effect premised in general strain theory and an indirect effect rooted in moral disengagement theory. The examinations of these competing views use survey data gathered from Facebook. The results support the indirect but not the direct effect, suggesting that envy influences cyberbullying intentions through moral disengagement. This study explicates how envious users rationalize their cyberbullying behaviors by cognitively reinterpreting existing perceptions of the advantages exhibited by envied others in a SNS, which reveals the importance of considering negative emotions to explain the unsettling cyberbullying phenomenon more fully.","PeriodicalId":46306,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Global Information Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":4.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48963672","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, they are principally responsible for the consequent liabilities that may accrue from breaches of individual consumers' privacy traceable to the network. Hence, this study revisits the notion of information-privacy at the point of contact between an individual end user and the smart-apps that the end user employs. The authors examine the impacts of inattention on consumers' behavioral reactions to perceived smart-app privacy concerns. The authors find that inattention's effects on consumers' behavioral reactions, especially pertaining to re-examination and modification of an app's default permissions settings, is significant. Forewarning has significant impacts on mitigating inattention and altering consumers' behavioral reactions pertaining to re-examination and modification of an app's default permissions settings. Implications of these findings on corporate privacy management are discussed.","PeriodicalId":46306,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Global Information Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":4.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45800105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, data-driven evaluation method of regional innovation capability is proposed. First, the article collects regional innovation development statistics; second, min-max standardization method is used for dimensionless data processing, and anti-entropy method is used to calculate index weight; third, a composite system synergy degree model for objective and quantitative evaluation is built; finally, using Anhui Province as an example, the feasibility of the method was verified . The results indicate that the order and synergy degree of the innovation input and innovation output subsystems of Anhui Province have shown an upward trend from 2010 to 2019. However, innovation output has not been synchronized with innovation input. Therefore, suggestions for improving Anhui's regional innovation capability are proposed. This study provides theoretical and methodological support for evaluating and optimizing regional innovation capability.","PeriodicalId":46306,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Global Information Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":4.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41546314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite its superiority in performance measurement, SBM-NDEA has a limitation when confronted with new added datasets as it lacks predictive ability. To overcome this, the authors integrate twin support vector machine into it. A manager's attitude toward risks also plays an essential role in efficiency improvement and value generation, but numerical messages do not convey such information. Textual messages with elastic natures thus bring information beyond just numerical messages. To assist users in quantifying risk types, the authors introduced an advanced text analyzer to conjecture a manager's attitude toward each risk. The results show that the performance evaluation model with forecasting capability can shift the manager's role from monitoring the past to planning the future. This study also demonstrates that the model with textual information reaches superior forecasting performance.","PeriodicalId":46306,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Global Information Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":4.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41554083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to a report on the United Nations News website (news. un. org), as of May 3, 2023, the cumulative number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide has reached 765 million, and more than 6 million people have lost their lives as a result. How to evaluate the effect of government management has become a key issue. In this research, the SEIR model is used to estimate the network average degree of Chinese cities under network limitation. The results show that government management has reduced the average degree of the COVID-19 network and the prevention of first-tier cities will be more difficult. This study scientifically evaluates the government management of the epidemic and provides ideas for emergency management of infectious diseases that affect the public.","PeriodicalId":46306,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Global Information Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":4.7,"publicationDate":"2023-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48999201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
