While a few implement regional presence, the pros and cons of full internationalization are evaluated. Giving the scarce empirical research, this paper aims to add to scholarly works and knowledge on internationalization and establish regional internationalization as the feasible option for Nigerian firms.\u0000\u0000\u0000Design/methodology/approach\u0000Random and stratified sampling techniques were used. Data collection was conducted with questionnaire copies and analyzed with confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model.\u0000\u0000\u0000Findings\u0000Internationalization strategy enhances small and medium enterprises (SME’s) competitive advantage, and full internationalization seems unrealistic for Nigerian firms; however, regional internationalization is the bedrock for full internationalization. Finally, the nature of the Nigerian business environment developed an increased value creation process in SMEs through increased flexibility and problem-solving abilities.\u0000\u0000\u0000Practical implications\u0000SMEs should internationalize partially, and critically evaluate socio-cultural and institutional environmental challenges in this study, to enable them to strategize for full internationalization.\u0000\u0000\u0000Originality/value\u0000The study demonstrates that the only way to fast track the internationalization drive of SME’s in Nigeria is first to embrace regional internationalization because it is difficult to achieve full internationalization at a go. The data collected were analyzed by using partial least square (PLS).\u0000\u0000\u0000Findings\u0000Corporate entrepreneurship plays a moderating role in the relationship between national policies, supply chain collaboration and innovativeness.\u0000\u0000\u0000Research limitations/implications\u0000This study is only focusing on the supply chain of LED in Malaysia; hence, the results may not be suitable to be generalized to wider populations.\u0000\u0000\u0000Practical implications\u0000The findings of this study could help the local companies to understand on how, as entrepreneurs, they could expand from small scale to contract manufacturers through enhancing innovativeness. Specifically, the study identified entrepreneurial attitudes and behaviours (namely, risk-taking ability, self-efficacy, pro-activeness and behavioural control) that students ought to acquire through entrepreneurial education to increase their intentions to indulge in entrepreneurship.\u0000\u0000\u0000Design/methodology/approach\u0000The survey approach was adopted, with data collection done through administering questionnaires to students in the two public universities in the Central Region of Ghana. The model was tested using the partial least squares procedure.\u0000\u0000\u0000Findings\u0000The results found support for the proposed model, depicting that, with the exception of self-efficacy, other factors such as behavioural control, risk-taking ability and pro-activeness mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intentions of students.\u0000\u0000\u0000Research limitations/implications\u0000The major limitation of this study is that the proposed model was tested in only the public universities in the Central Region of Ghana. Subsequently, the validity of the model should be confirmed in other institutions.\u0000\u0000\u0000Practical implications\u0000The findings suggest that entrepreneurial education should be integrated into the course structure of all programmes across all disciplines in the tertiary institutions of Ghana. This will promote entrepreneurship and alleviate unemployment among university graduates.\u0000\u0000\u0000Originality/value\u0000The study provides a basis for tertiary institutions to develop programmes, policies and measures to help students to build upon their ability to take a risk, control their behaviour and be pro-active. A researcher-made questionnaire was used for data collection. After a comprehensive review of the theoretical foundations, the research model was formed with 5 main indices and 21 sub-indices. Fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL)-based (DANP) technique and MATLAB software was used for analysis.\u0000\u0000\u0000Findings\u0000Indicators of Values and Beliefs (A3) and Motivation Index (E5) as Influential Indicators and indicators of personal attributes (S1), formal and informal relationships (R2) and human capital (C4) are effective indicators of entrepreneurial resilience. In the final rankings, formal and informal relationships had the highest weight with 0.263 and the lowest with priority and motivation index with 0.080. In addition to the final rankings of the sub-indices, the indicators of first-hand experience, recognition of opportunities and consulting services were given the highest weight.\u0000\u0000\u0000Practical implications\u0000This study proposes that resilience is a real-life process and not just a list of each characteristic. Correlation and regression analysis was adopted to establish the interaction effect of commercial loans in between trade credits, retain earning and entrepreneurial SMEs performance.FindingsThe results demonstrated that commercial loans, trade credit and retain earning have a positive relationship with entrepreneurial SMEs performance. The findings also confirmed the interaction effect of commercial loans in between retain earnings, trade credit and entrepreneurial SMEs performance.Originality/valueThe study examined the association and interaction effect of commercial loans in between retain earnings, trade credit and SMEs performance in the emerging state (Pakistan). The purpose of this paper is to investigate this relationship by measuring women entrepreneurship and economic development at global level.\u0000\u0000\u0000Design/methodology/approach\u0000Secondary data has been retrieved from Female Entrepreneurship Index Report 2015, Human Development Report 2015 and KOF Index of Globalization 2015. Cross-sectional data is used from 69 countries of the world. Multiple regression is applied to estimate the data.\u0000\u0000\u0000Findings\u0000The results explained the significant impact of women entrepreneurship on the economies of the world. It was observed that women participation in entrepreneurial activities not only supports to their family income but also plays a significant role in economic development and social well-being of the society.\u0000\u0000\u0000Research limitations/implications\u0000There is no information about total output of women entrepreneurs in terms of new enterprises setups and established businesses of women except for year 2015. Airbnb changed the way renters and tourists find places to stay when they are traveling. The company introduced innovations in business models and technologies. So, Airbnb requires specific factors that will influence consumers’ trust because consumers intuitively seek out trusting factors to make judgments on innovative service providers. Thus, the purpose of this study is to understand the factors that influence travelers’ trust to use Airbnb within the three ASEAN nations.\u0000\u0000\u0000Design/methodology/approach\u0000The data were collected from both qualitative and quantitative methods. The questionnaire was the main data-gathering instrument used in this study and supplemented by informal interviews. A self-administered questionnaire was provided to 130 Airbnb users from the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore using Hayes’ Process Macro as the statistical tool.\u0000\u0000\u0000Findings\u0000The correlation test was carried out to determine the strength and relationships among the independent, mediating and dependent variables. All independent variables are positively correlated with the mediating variable. The results reveal that ease of use, convenience, information social influence, normative social influence and security have a significant impact on trust and behavioral intention to use Airbnb.\u0000\u0000\u0000Originality/value\u0000This study contributes to the field of sharing economy, particularly home sharing, by examining different factors that influence trust and behavioral intention. In this context, the mediating role of boreout, a new concept in the literature, was examined.\u0000\u0000\u0000Design/methodology/approach\u0000This study was conducted with 240 participants recruited in manufacturing companies affiliated with Adana Chamber of Industry in the province of Adana Turkey in November 2019. The research was analyzed by the structural equation modeling method with the social exchange theory basis.\u0000\u0000\u0000Findings\u0000Findings revealed that boreout and mobbing were negatively associated with service innovation performance. Mobbing was positively associated with boreout and job boredom. According to the finding of this study, boreout partially mediated the effect of the mobbing on service innovation performance.\u0000\u0000\u0000Originality/value\u0000This study reveals the association among mobbing, boreout and service innovation performances of employees of companies operating in manufacturing sector.
