The consequences of the pandemic are not gender-neutral, so it is particularly relevant to know the perspective of this highly feminised professional group, which continued to carry out its essential activity during the hardest moments of the pandemic. For this purpose, a sample of 466 women professionals in the sector was obtained in fieldwork carried out between 1 and 19 April 2020. The results showed that social workers perceived great difficulty in continuing to carry out their functions in this context, as well as a notorious affectation both personally and professionally, with the youngest, those with the least seniority in the organisation and those with dependent children being the most affected in some of the different aspects analysed.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69687750","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Along with the advance of medical technology, the improvement of public health, the extension of life expectancy, and the decrease in fertility rates, the global demographic structure is gradually aging. The aging speed is increasing in various countries, and domestic aging speed is fast and rush that how to effectively deal with various elderly care problems shows the urgency; otherwise, it would become troublesome when becoming a national, governmental, social, and family burden. Precautions are therefore essential and urgent; especially, elderly economic problems involving in living standards may have a burden on families. Taking the elderly in Taiwan as the questionnaire samples, a total 500 questionnaires were distributed. After excluding invalid and incomplete questionnaires, 367 copies were valid, with the retrieval rate of 73%. Based on the results we propose suggestions, assisting governmental sectors to implement welfare policies conforming to national benefits and taking care of elderly health and wellbeing to cope with the population aging trend. We also provide social and economic suggestions in the form of mature aged entrepreneurship as a driver od social innovation.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45174563","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, using a qualitative-quantitative approach, we assessed the most commonly-used IER strategies employed by couples in both positive and negative interactions, and the anticipated self and partner’s emotions arising from their utilization. One hundred and ninety-nine couples participated in this research. The participants had to read a vignette that had a positive connotation and imagine they were the main character and write answers to four questions. Then, they had to repeat the process, using the negative connotation vignette. The questions were focused on the assessment of the self-anticipated IER strategies as well as the self and partner’s anticipated emotional reactions associated with the self-anticipated IER strategies. The thematic analysis showed that most of the participants described IER strategies that fit either into the ‘cognitive engagement’ category or in the ‘put own feelings first’ category. The most frequently anticipated self and partner’s emotions were ‘calm’, ‘joy’ or ‘sadness’. IER strategies have an effect not only on the target but also on the regulator. This aspect can contribute to a better understanding of couple relationships.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44394499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SPIRAL Methodology was used to implement exploratory research using the focus group as main research method and ESPOIR software for the statistical analysis. 2275 answers were collected from 198 citizens in Brasov Municipality. The citizens’ answers positively correlate with the social and economic situation, dominated by the effects of the Great Recession. Mostly, well-being through their eyes is related to the working place, purchasing power, education and mental and physical health. Secondly citizens focus on improving their lives and contributing to the society. Lastly, they pay attention to the personal equilibrium. SPIRAL represents a useful tool in supporting governments and local stake holders to identify the pain points, find solutions and locally available resources while, sharing responsibility and successfully overcoming the negative impact of the global pandemic over the economy and society. When comparing the effects SPRIAL methodology had in the communities where it was applied, with the current situation around the world and with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we contribute to enriching the management knowledge by providing a comprehensive tool that promotes sustainable development, measures wellbeing and nurtures cooperation and social innovation.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41713836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This instrument, developed by a UNICEF team that continued the pioneering efforts of a Romanian NGO (Advocay and Human Rights Center ), has special importance for educational equity and social welfare. The paper argues that the widespread adoption of this tool in the institutionalization of education systems is a necessary prerequisite for equalizing educational opportunities. A systematic, administrative use of such an instrument sets the premises for an adequate assessment of school segregation level, defined in accordance with the most relevant criteria and the various forms thereof. Moreover, due to such an instrument, public intervention means for systemic school desegregation can also be put forward. Conclusions of the paper argue about certain conditions, precautionary measures and risks associated with the process of implementing and using such a model.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41944179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was intended to find out if the intervention is effective in terms of knowledge acquisition about Covid-19 in turn creating the necessary awareness about the same. Therefore, pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test design was used (Thyer, 2012). The participants were 100 first year graduation students. The Paired sample t-test was conducted to know if the intervention has impacted awareness level of Covid-19 crisis. The findings reveal that there is a significant improvement in knowledge gained about Covid-19 by the students in this approach. The findings have important implications for the educational reformers, researchers and teachers in India and any other developing country with the similar climate in education for that matter.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49063032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A semistructured interview was administered to collect data about family and social histories, with self-report questionnaires to evaluate psychopathology, empathy, moral disengagement strategies and cognitive distortions. The results showed that about 14% of sexual offenders reported a moderate / severe level of deviance of distorted beliefs relating to children; 28% of the total sample (but 53% of Italians) reported a moderate/severe level of deviance related to cognitive distortions \"sexual right\". The results also showed how sex offenders who have suffered emotional abuse during their life report higher levels of emotional empathy, depression, anxiety, paranoid ideation, and psychoticism compared to those who have not suffered it. Theoretical and practical implications are provided.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69687179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among measures aimed at retaining students, scholarship and study grant policies help to ensure equality. In Spain, the establishment of the Study Aid Programme (PAE) for degree studies is an outstanding innovative initiative. This study is aimed at assessing the importance of the PAE as an economic factor in equity, access and academic performance in the first year at university. The data used is that available on all students who began degree studies at Abat Oliba CEU University from the 2009-10 academic years to the 2015-16 academic years. The results confirm that obtaining a scholarship becomes an incentive that influences key aspects for persistence, such as the degree of effort and educational commitment with positive results on students’ performance.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45811786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors define what have been the basics of structuring historical pedagogical knowledge in Kazakhstan and show that students’ awareness of the history of education of Kazakhstan makes them look at the future differently. Moreover, they emphasize that rethinking and reassessment of historical and pedagogical knowledge will improve its content with value-targeted materials. For research implementation, philosophical, historical, and pedagogical literature was analyzed. For the empirical part of the research questionnaire with 20 teachers and pedagogical experiment with 180 students were conducted. The object of the pedagogical experiment was a specially organized process of assimilation of historical and pedagogical knowledge by students of pedagogical specialties, with new substantive content in the field of “History of Education of Kazakhstan” as an independent educational discipline. Results of the experimental work indicated that students studying the history of education as an independent discipline had an important condition for the formation of the general and pedagogical culture of the future specialist, since it gives knowledge about the development of the theory and practice of education and contributes to the formation of a worldview and pedagogical professionalism.","PeriodicalId":45087,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Cercetare si Interventie Sociala","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49124934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
