{"title":"Influence of mobile technology and smart classroom environment on learning engagement","authors":"Bingzhuan Peng","doi":"10.3233/jcm-226827","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3233/jcm-226827","url":null,"abstract":"To expand the application of mobile technology and smart classroom environment in education, and explore their influence on learning engagement, this paper, based on the Situated Cognition Theory, took 296 sophomores from six universities in China as the research objects and investigated the relationship between mobile technology, smart classroom environment, and learning engagement. The findings show that: (1) in the mobile technology and smart classroom environment, the frequency of learning by mobile devices in class, the frequency of learning by mobile devices after class, the duration of learning by mobile devices in class, the duration of learning by mobile devices after class, the hardware environment, software resources, and technology acceptance have positive effects on learning engagement; (2) mobile technology and smart classroom environment can better mobilize learners’ interest and initiative in learning and increase learners’ engagement in learning; (3) mobile technology and smart classroom environment can greatly improve college learners’ behavioural engagement, emotional engagement, and cognitive engagement respectively. The traditional principal component analysis method is sensitive to outliers since it is based on the sample covariance matrix. Meanwhile, the deviation of the principal component analysis based on the Minimum Covariance Determinant (MCD) estimation is significantly increased as the data dimension increases. In this paper, we propose a high-dimensional robust principal component analysis based on the Rocke estimator. However, due to the great differences in the forms of expression and thinking logic between British and American literature and Chinese local literature, it is difficult for Chinese students to learn British and American literature. In order to solve the dilemma of Chinese students learning English and American literature, the team constructed a smart classroom model with flipped classroom as the core based on big data and Internet of Things technology. The smart classroom model is constructed according to the four-layer architecture of the Internet of Things, which is divided into perception layer, network layer, platform layer and application layer. The flipped classroom is in the application layer. The flipped classroom is designed according to the three processes before, during and after class, which has certain theoretical significance. In order to verify the effectiveness of this model, a university in H city was selected for research. Through the control experiment, it was concluded that within a certain error range, the flipped classroom teaching mode can significantly improve the teaching effect of British and American literature compared with the traditional teaching mode. Finally, based on the problems of English and American literature learning, we further deepen the model of flipped classroom. In the pre-course pre-study stage, teachers should play their organizational role and enhance students’ pre-study effect through interesting pre-study methods. Teachers should also pay attention to students’ pre-study status and make timely adjustments. In the classroom, teachers need to find students’ questions in time and answer common questions in a unified manner and answer individual questions in private, in an effort to improve classroom efficiency and promote the process of internalizing students’ knowledge. At the end of the flipped classroom, the classroom should also summarize the lesson, recognize the strengths and weaknesses of the lesson implementation based on the feedback from the students, and clarify the room for improvement of the lesson. Blockchain is a data structure and information storage technology that has become well-known with the development of Bitcoin and is currently widely used to build a trusted digital environment. The use of blockchain technology can solve the problems of low confidentiality and easy tampering of traditional archives management. Therefore, this paper proposes a blockchain-based student archives management scheme, designs the key data structures and algorithms of the system model, and tests the functions and performance of the system model on the ESXi platform. Firstly, some sets of systolic displacement and surface displacement data are obtained by field monitoring, which is used to calculate the parameter vector to be determined. The corresponding mathematical model is established and the systolic displacement of tunnel is predicted according to the monitoring data of surface displacement. Combined with field tunnel displacement monitoring and surface displacement monitoring, the correlation of displacement curve is analyzed, and the corresponding mathematical model is established. Soft computing simplifies the calculation process by combining a variety of sophisticated algorithms. Soft computing is similar to human brain processing and perception. It can complete multi-variable complex calculations through low-cost and uncertain processes. With the continuous integration, the variables generated in the teaching process gradually increase, and the application of soft computing technology can effectively solve the complex calculation problems caused by many variables in the analysis of piano teaching. This paper first analyzes the basic theory of big data, soft computing and piano informatization teaching, and then obtains the problems existing in the current piano informatization teaching through questionnaire survey and analysis, and designs piano informatization, teaching innovation model based on big data and soft computing technology respectively. This article uses technology to obtain experimental data and analyze the results of the experiment. By studying the four situations of parental participation, single parent participation, and neither parent participating, it is shown in a comparative way that parental participation can significantly improve children’s sense of experience and comprehensive ability in parent-child sports interaction. When one parent participates alone, the effect of the father’s participation is better than that of the mother. Parental participation will make children more interested in sports, and parental participation will also improve children’s abilities in all aspects. Targeted solutions are proposed based on these problems. Let fathers participate more in parent-child sports interaction, strengthen parents’ understanding of parent-child sports interaction, enrich parents’ educational experience, parents should coordinate work and life time, and choose appropriate methods for parent-child sports interaction. The rise of big data and the Internet of Things has had an impact on all walks of life. The development of big data and the Internet of Things provides an opportunity for the evolution of street form. With the rapid development of smart cities, the street shape is also changing more and more towards the direction of intelligence. Taking Chunxi Road in Chengdu as an example, this paper studies the generation mechanism of street morphology. The factors influencing the generation of street form are divided into two categories: (1) legal factors. (2) Architectural design factors. By building a model, the article quantitatively analyzes the impact of these two types of factors on street form. At the same time, the article conducts an in-depth study on the evolution of ancient Chinese street morphology. The ancient Chinese street form is divided into four stages, namely the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Late Qing Dynasty, and the founding of New China. The influencing factors of street shape are divided into four categories, namely, the influence of commodity economy, the influence of foreign culture, the influence of building materials, and the influence of traffic. This paper elaborates the influence mechanism of these four factors on the street form in China. The article finally puts forward the development trend of my country’s future street form, and points out that the evolution of my country’s street form will develop in the direction of intelligence, and intelligent transportation, intelligent garbage classification system, etc. will be applied.
