That is the main reason why the research is needed to be focused on improving file carving techniques, so that digital investigation can obtain important data and evidence from damaged or corrupted storage media. In the digital forensic investigation, analyzing the unallocated space of storage media is necessary to extract the deleted or prewritten files when the file system metadata is missing or corrupted. Data carving can be defined as a method to recover the file from unallocated space based on different factors such as file type, information of the file (Header/Footer), or the contents of the file. Research in this area focuses on technological improvements in terms of tools and techniques over the past years. The studies examine different techniques of data carving, especially multimedia files (eg. images and videos). The work file carving is classified into three categories classic carving techniques, intelligent carving techniques and smart carving techniques. Moreover, there are seven popular multimedia carving tools that are mostly used and experimentally evaluated are presented. We conclude that proposing new advanced method for carving multimedia files still open and new direction for future research. This is because the fragmentations and compression are very commons used and useful for these kind of files.

Problems were designed to match real-life situations. Data of the experimental group learning outcome effects, were compared.. It was found that students who followed the PBL method learned to do research, learned better how to work in groups and developed greater confidence. Also what they learned was more of a practical value and they had more positive attitudes and reflected more. This research is in response to the real need to address gaps between employer expectations and higher education outcomes in Palestine. \u0000 In this study, an experimental group of (16) students was examined after studying a course using PBL approach. The students’ achievement was examined before and after the experiment. The research results proved that there is a significant increase in gain in achievement. The PBL has achieved efficiency greater than (80%) in achievement. Also, the PBL has achieved efficiency greater than (1.2) measured with respect to Black’s Gain Ratio in achievement. Also, PBL has achieved efficiency greater than (0.6) measured with respect to McGugian’s Gain Ratio in achievement. The PBL has achieved larger effect size (more than 0.14) on achievement.

Samples of soil were collected from agricultural fields of four different villages of barnala region such as Rure ke kalan, Gunas, Handiaya and cheema from five different layers(0-10 cm; 10-20 cm; 20-30 cm; 30-40 cm and 40-50 cm depth). There are three industrial sites in barnala district and these four villages are located near to these industial sites. In this study, adverse effect of different industries on fields of these four villages were investigated. Handiaya village has high values of pH and electrical conductivity while Gunas and Cheema villages have lowest value of electrical conductivity and pH respectively. when textile effluent reaches the soil or underground water it causes bad effect on human health such as people may suffer from alkalosis which is due to high pH and can lead to arrhythmia which means irregular heartbeat. Alkalosis can induce a coma, it may cause seizures and malfunctioning of kidneys. They present the advantage of higher thermal conductivity and smaller form factor compared to conventional heat spreaders. This work aims to investigate the potential miniaturization of these devices, preliminary to integration on the backside of mobile device chips, located as close as possible to hotspots. While detailed numerical models of vapor chamber operation are developed, an easy modeling with low computational cost is needed for an effective parametric study. Based on the study of the operating limits, this paper shows the thinning potential of a water filled micropillar for a device operating below 10 W and identify the corresponding vapour core height, and wick thickness.

Experimental data show that this distribution is of a similar nature for all selected cities. A semi-empirical model was built, on the basis of which an explicit form of theoretical dependence was obtained, describing the nature of the distribution of the number of mutual contacts (“friends”) of users of social online networks. It is shown that this theoretical dependence agrees with satisfactory accuracy with experimental data for a sufficiently large sample of cities. It is established that the Dunbar number, which is included in the dependencies considered as a control parameter, is a characteristic of the communication environment of each specific city and correlates with the population of the city.

Francis
Error is an important problem in communication that occurs in shared networks when a packet fails to arrive at the destination or it arrives at the destination but some of the bits are in error or have been altered. In typical packet switched wide area networks, this can occur quite easily when output links are slower than inputs and multiple traffic sources competing for same output link at the same time. Typical for packet switched WAN, the packet transmit input/output buffer and queue of the network devices in their way towards the destination. Moreover, these networks are characterized by the fact that packets often arrive in “burst”. The buffers in the network devices are intended to assimilate these traffic hosts until they can be processed. Nevertheless, the available buffers in the network nodes may fill up rapidly if the network traffic is too high which in turn may lead to discarded packets. The situation cannot be avoided by increasing the size of the buffers, since unreasonable buffer size will lead to excessive end-to-end (e2e) delay. A typical scenario for congestion occurs where multiple incoming link feed into single outgoing link (e.g several Local Area Networks connected to Wide Area Networks). The routers of the networks are highly susceptible for traffic congestion because they are too small for the amount of traffic required to handle. \u0000This paper presented general concepts of Error Control and its mechanisms and its application to packet switched wide area networks An improved model was proposed with reduced error while transmitting packets from one channel to the other. \u0000Simulating the model for reducing error control in packet switched wide area networks increased the number of messages, reduced response time used in transmitting and receiving packets, reduced network utilization.

Due to the physical and mechanical characteristics, this material, obtained by the sintering process of waste glass at high temperature, constitutes a viable replacer of existing similar materials, used especially in construction. Unlike the conventional heating methods used worldwide, the company Daily Sourcing & Research SRL Bucharest tested lately microwave heating techniques in the manufacturing process of foam glass. In the paper it is presented an original method based on the feature of the powder mixture composed by waste glass (over 97 wt.%) and the foaming agent (calcium carbonate) to absorb the microwave energy and convert it to heat since the ambient temperature, using a silicon carbide and silicon nitride (80/ 20 weight ratio) crucible with thin wall (2.5 mm), which allows both a preponderantly direct heating and partially an indirect heating of the material. The main parameters of the process (specific consumption of energy, heating speed, process temperature and duration) were significant improved compared to the previous experiments.
