It is unique in its range of potential benefits, encompassing economic development, maternal and child health, and educational advances among others. The evidence is clear: Family planning improves health, reduces poverty, and empowers women. Yet, today, more than 200 million women in the developing world want to avoid pregnancy but do not have the right sources of information on family planning. This made them face many obstacles, including a lack of access to information and health care services. A descriptive survey design was adopted in this study and no variable was manipulated. Rural women of childbearing age were used in this study, stratified sampling technique was used to select 200 respondents from 12 wards in Boki LGA of cross river state. Two valid and reliable instruments were used for data collection. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Pearson moment product. The result reveals that women between the age of 31 and above are involved in family planning, the level of their education is at SSCE with a percent of (42%), rural women’s attitude has a positive relationship with Family planning (N=200, r = .915**, p<.005). It is recommended that childbearing age women in rural communities should be given enough information on family planning as well as its importance in society.","PeriodicalId":445536,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research Methods","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116626667","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The negative consequences of economic development have long been observed by eminent economic theorists, such as Smith, Marx, Malthus, Ricardo and Mill (Clarin, 2018). There are some indicators that show that most countries have failed to achieve sustainable development, and some countries are far from it. There has also been a growing concern about the environmental limit to growth and development as well as the imperative of environmental quality and management. As a result, this paper firstly conceptualized the following terms-“Waste”,“Waste Management”,“Environment”, “Environmental Sustainability”, Community, Community Sustainability, and Sustainable Development. The paper further discussed the composition of waste materials in Nigeria. It again examined various international and national measures or activities taken in relation to the concept of community sustainable development. The scholars in addition discussed the rationale for environmental protection and the negative impacts of waste on Nigerian environment. Furthermore, several measures taken internationally and nationally to ameliorate the negative impacts of wastes on environment were concisely discussed.","PeriodicalId":445536,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research Methods","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116059188","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Decision-making is spearheaded by leadership, and leadership styles propounded by different scholars have been evolving. Therefore, providing quality leadership amid crises and pandemics gives rise to the exploitation of new ways of leadership style. The author assesses and draws from different leadership styles to form a leadership style called Interleadership. It is the hope of the author that the Interleadership style, will yield maximum benefits to leaders during crises and normal times as well. The author applied a desktop study design and used a maximum variation purposive sampling technique to select fourteen leadership styles for the study. unlike other leadership styles where perspectives to tackle problems from outside the usual boundaries are considered a solution, the Interleadership style synthesizes leadership styles to develop a new perspective to leadership during crises and regular times.","PeriodicalId":445536,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research Methods","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122224013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
