The use of formal descriptions to capture constraints early in the process may be appropriate in this regard. The theory of relational databases has much in common with the mathematical structures central to the Z notation. In this position paper, we describe how create suitable tables and sql code for Z specifications that have been made according to UML diagrams by Robert’s methods. Here We use the Z notation as our specification language, and SQL as our implementation language.","PeriodicalId":445284,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information Management and Engineering","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114930433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As network structure, a model proposed by Newman and Watts is considered and the synchronizability is obtained both by numerically solving the differential equations and by the master-stability-function method. In addition to diffusive electrical couplings, the effect of having excitatory chemical connections is also addressed and the complementary role of chemical synapses to the electrical one in providing complete synchrony in the network is shown.","PeriodicalId":445284,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information Management and Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123227693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the MSR to enhance the color images can achieve adequate enhancement of shadowed detail and fails to rendition. The good color rendition and more details in shadows derived from the source image and the enhanced image can be combined into a fused image by DWT. The quality of the fused color image is evaluated by entropy and a human perception inspired quality metric. The results of experiment show that the fused image has the maximum value of entropy and is more accord with the human visual system.","PeriodicalId":445284,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information Management and Engineering","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124259409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Loss functions such as Taguchi loss functions, assess the process losses, but this function do not distinguish real harmful loss. So in this study an improved Taguchi loss function method is constructed. Then regarding to this new function a novel process capability is developed. The logical idea is to use improved Taguchi quality loss function in order to measure the process capability. Main findings are improved Taguchi loss function that is more sensitive to losses and new process capability index base on improved Taguchi loss function, for qualitative response data, to evaluate the process capability for the qualitative response data.","PeriodicalId":445284,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information Management and Engineering","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126431325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, most of the existing customer segmentation approaches are for certainty segmentation, which cannot objectively describe customer’s random and uncertain behavior. Therefore, this article proposes an index system of dynamic customer segmentation based on customer lifetime value, and reveals that more comprehensive comparison and analysis can be conducted on target customers along four dimensions, namely, service application strength, service core value, service substitutability, and service core value extension. Through China Telecom's database mining, the specific evaluation indices for the telecom industry are introduced, achieving dynamic customer segmentation and increasing the objectivity of this index system in describing customer behavior.","PeriodicalId":445284,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information Management and Engineering","volume":"2012 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114472407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These systems allow participants to annotate or tag web resources. This paper examined the use of social annotations to improve the quality of web search. It involved two components. First, social annotations were used to index resources. Two annotation-based indexing methods were proposed. Second, social annotations were used to improve search result ranking. Four annotation-based ranking methods were proposed. The result showed that using only annotation as an index of resources may not be appropriate. Since social annotations could be viewed as a high level concept of the content, combining them to the content of resource could add some more important concepts to the resources. The result also suggested that both static feature and similarity feature should be considered when using social annotations to re-rank search result.","PeriodicalId":445284,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Information Management and Engineering","volume":"344 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122280378","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
