Ce sont les voix masculines qui se sont imposées dans le milieu du rap québécois, comme en témoigne l’intérêt que leur manifestent les maisons de disques (labels) et les stations de radio commerciales. Cet article propose une analyse des textes de deux rappeuses, MCM et Donzelle, afin d’observer comment elles construisent leur autorité lyrique, c’est-à-dire la crédibilité de leur prise de parole, la validité idéologique de leurs propos et la valeur esthétique de leur chant. Trois stratégies sont mises en place. Les rappeuses intègrent d’abord à leur rap un point de vue sexiste afin de reproduire le contexte social et discursif dans lequel elles oeuvrent. Ensuite, elles proposent une autre représentation des femmes afin de répondre à l’imaginaire sexiste dont s’est parfois nourrie la parole rap. Enfin, MCM et Donzelle créent leur propre esthétique, jouant pour ce faire avec les codes du trash, prégnant dans leur art.","PeriodicalId":44460,"journal":{"name":"Methods Data Analyses","volume":"33 1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.3,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82768228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

En adoptant une approche mariant la littérature à la sociolinguistique, nous effectuerons un survol des usages linguistiques de leurs albums respectifs, sélectionnés à l’ADISQ en 2019, afin de brosser un portrait de la situation. Dans un second temps, nous examinerons les thèmes du soi, de la québécité et de la violence dans le rap à partir des données recueillies lors de notre examen des chansons. L’analyse des échanges hétérolingues montrera que, dans le rap de Koriass et de Loud, l’anglais vient s’ajouter à une base linguistique française. Le français demeure donc la langue dominante malgré l’usage de l’anglais.","PeriodicalId":44460,"journal":{"name":"Methods Data Analyses","volume":"85 1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.3,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75207193","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It does so by first describing the socio-historical context surrounding the issue. It then looks at the concrete impact of the first decision on the issue, the Yean and Bosico Case, on the situation it addressed. Finally, it attempts to predict which reparations measures of the Guayubín judgment are most likely to be complied with, and whether these measures might have a positive impact.","PeriodicalId":44460,"journal":{"name":"Methods Data Analyses","volume":"77 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.3,"publicationDate":"2020-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74828282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Wagner","doi":"10.12758/mda.2015.010","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12758/mda.2015.010","url":null,"abstract":"Conducting survey interviews on the internet has become an attractive method for lowering data collection costs and increasing the frequency of interviewing, especially in longitudinal studies. However, the advantages of the web mode for studies with frequent re-interviews can be offset by the serious disadvantage of low response rates and the potential for nonresponse bias to mislead investigators. Important life events, such as changes in employment status, relationship changes, or moving can cause attrition from longitudinal studies, producing the possibility of attrition bias. The potential extent of such bias in longitudinal web surveys is not well understood. We use data from the Relationship Dynamics and Social Life (RDSL) study to examine the potential for a mixed-device approach with active mode switching to reduce attrition bias. The RDSL design allows panel members to switch modes by integrating telephone interviewing into a longitudinal web survey with the objective of collecting weekly reports. We found that in this design allowing panel members to switch modes kept more participants in the study compared to a web only approach. The characteristics of persons who ever switched modes are different than those who did not – including not only demographic characteristics, but also baseline characteristics related to pregnancy and time-varying characteristics that were collected after the baseline interview. This was true in multivariate models that control for multiple of these dimensions simultaneously. We conclude that mode options and mode switching is important for the success of longitudinal web surveys to maximize participation and minimize attrition.","PeriodicalId":44460,"journal":{"name":"Methods Data Analyses","volume":"9 1","pages":"163 - 184"},"PeriodicalIF":1.3,"publicationDate":"2016-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"66442574","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also discusses the historical and socio-economic phenomenon of discrimination that prevails in the Dominican Republic against Haitians or Dominicans of Haitian origin, and in which the Case Nadège Dorzema took place. The text then discusses the strategy and legal arguments submitted to the Inter-American Commission and the Court of Human Rights by the victims' representatives to demonstrate how the State violated the former’s right to equality. Finally, the authors analyse the Court's findings on these issues and address the difficulties anticipated regarding the implementation of the judgment.","PeriodicalId":44460,"journal":{"name":"Methods Data Analyses","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.3,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88136600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author provides an analysis of this aspect of the judgment and argues that future cases of arbitrary detention of migrants, when these are not duly identified, provide strong bases for concluding in a violation of this right. The author shows that such circumstances correspond to the cases previously decided under article 3 of the American Convention, namely where the State puts individuals in a position where they are prevented from enjoying their civil rights, and were the State refuses to emit formal recognition of individuals or peoples. The author further shows how this conclusion is supported by the case law of the European Court of Human Rights regarding collective expulsions of migrants, because of this court’s special emphasis on their right to be duly identified and to an individualised evaluation of their case. The author concludes that finding a violation of Article 3 of the American Convention in future similar cases is necessary to give full meaning to this treaty and full effect to its regional specificity.","PeriodicalId":44460,"journal":{"name":"Methods Data Analyses","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.3,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77688916","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
