In this context, it is very essential organizational strategy to cop up with environmental changes. order to survive and compete effectively in the global environment. Research purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between knowledge management and job satisfaction among the university librarians of the Punjab, Pakistan. For data collection process survey research method was used. On the basis of literature review, a questionnaire was designed for data collection. The analyzed data showed a good relationship of the research main constructs between satisfaction of librarians’ jobs and different aspects of knowledge management. It was evaluated that there was a good relation of knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing with job satisfaction. There is positive impact of knowledge management process on an organization and help improve efficiency and effectiveness. Beside this, job satisfaction is a important aspect for organizational success. It plays a significant role in achieving the organizational goals. The study was undertaken through a questionnaire-based survey. Data collection procedures were completed in two phases. In the first round, the data were collected from 13 in-charge librarians/ marketing officers and in the second round, data were collected from 243 library users. Data were analyzed using SPSS. Results demonstrate that planning and implementing promotional activities provide a chance to evaluate the utilization of information resources and services. The 3rd wave ofCovid-19 (coronavirus) is spreading badly all around the world including Pakistan as well. The roles of librarians are more critical and energetic. Fake news is creating confusion and becoming a greater challenge for the librarians. The main purpose of this study is to examine the role of private sector university librarians in Punjab, Pakistan during the 3rd wave of covid-19. The study was based on a quantitative approach, closed-ended questionnaires were used to collect the data. Librarians were selected through the convenience sampling technique. Total 62 questionnaires were received back from the population, male librarians were higher as compared to females, data was entered into SPSS-27 for analysis purposes. This is a thematic paper based on qualitative methodology deep sight reviewed different papers about the ORCID ID. Its role in scholarly communication and the publishing industry. The research findings show the awareness of Pakistani scholars about the ORCID and found 5020 ORCID ID account holders which seem very low awareness about the ORCID ID. Libraries and Librarian roles are also discussed about the promotion awareness of author identification sources. This study is helpful to librarians to include ORCID ID in their respective information literacy sessions. Pakistani researcher can secure their profile and avoid duplication of ID’s. Quantitative method followed by survey research design was applied. Questionnaire was developed to gather data from the target population. All professional librarians of the public and private sector universities of Lahore having at least Masters qualification were the population of the study. The census sampling technique was used to collect data from the population in the quantitative phase. Due to the personal efforts of the researchers, the response rate was 76%. Collected data were analyzed through SPSS Software and descriptive statistics were applied. Results of the research show that most of the respondents want to implement the latest technological tools in their libraries. Factors of personal interest, competitive environment, creative mindset, availability of sufficient funds, and leadership play a vital role to implement emerging technologies in the university libraries. This study aims to identify the challenges and present some strategies for the maintenance of ETDs in public university libraries of Bangladesh. In this connection for ensuring representativeness, researcher purposively selected 04 public university libraries out of 49 under the investigation. Data were collected from the selected university libraries and analyzed using SPSS v-20. The result highlighted that ETDs leading towards dynamism among the universities.
