The research is divided into two parts, the first one is the RCS test of the quadcopter in an indoor environment compared to an outdoor environment. The second part is the RCS test of the quadcopter in an indoor environment while the quadcopter is flying in the air compared to the quadcopter mounted on a stand as in the first test. The results showed that the RCS of the quadcopter in both environments responded to the structure of the quadcopter in the same way, but the RCS of quadcopter in indoor environment has higher RCS anomality oscillation compared to the RCS of quadcopter in outdoor environment. In addition, the quadcopter that is flying in the air compared to the quadcopter mounted on a stand has found that the majority of the quadcopter’ RCS is similar.","PeriodicalId":441430,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"141 11","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134162619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is precisely described based on the mathematical concept of relation. The abstract concept is presented by the tabular format, commonly known as the SQL tables. Due to the simplicity of the tabular format and the simple, high productivity SQL language, software developers without or with minimum theoretical backgrounds can use RDBMSs for application development. There are also DBMSs which are based on other database models which do not use the SQL language and are collectively called NoSQL databases. These systems' advocates claim that the Relational Database Model and RDBMSs require ACID transactions. This paper clarifies the related terms and concepts of the Relational Database Model. The more recent concept of relation variable is explained and related to SQL tables. ACID properties of transactions are also presented to confirm that they are not directly related to a particular database model. Thus, it is a misconception that the Relational Database Model requires ACID properties.","PeriodicalId":441430,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114206854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We consider the Internet of Things (IoT) WiFi modules at 2.4 GHz standard enabled with the transmitter Tx- UAV and the receiver Rx-UAV. The received signal strength indicator (RSSI) and path loss characteristics are addressed by using the free space path loss (FSPL) model, air-to-air two- ray (A2AT-R) model, and the modified Log-distance path loss model. The measurement results indicated that the limit of power constraint of WiFi modules was a level at 10 m Rx-UAV altitude, and the received sensitivity was limited at -95 dBm. It is shown that the impact of ground reflection path loss was characterized at 1–3 m Rx-Uavaltitudes which are accordingly related to the A2AT-R model and the relative resulting with the modified Log- distance model above 4 m Rx-UAV altitudes.","PeriodicalId":441430,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"408 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126687711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The developed program is embedded in the digital oscilloscope which is able to analyze and evaluate the parameters of lightning impulse voltage automatically. The procedures and methods for the parameter evaluation used in the program comply with the standard of IEC60060-1. This program was developed based on Visual Basic 6.0 language that passed the accuracy-test with 29 standard impulse lightning voltage waveforms provided by IEC 61083–2. Also, the measuring system can pass the test accuracy of evaluation of lightning impulse voltage parameters with a small impulse voltage waveform calibrator (KAL 1000 Impulse-Calibrator DR. STRAUSS). In addition, the measuring system was used practically in the actual lightning impulse voltage test in an HV laboratory. From the test results, the developed system has promising performance in the evaluation of lightning impulse voltage parameters.","PeriodicalId":441430,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116284266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The accuracy is necessary to be study in order to design the positioning system. In this paper, the accuracy of min-max method is studied using distance error model for indoor positioning. The estimated distance is evaluated from distance error model by using the received signal strength (RSS) with indoor channel consists of path loos and multipath fading models. After that, the estimated distance is used with min-max method to estimate the position of receiver and calculate the distance error. The distance error of each position is illustrated. The distance error with specific path loss exponent and standard deviation of multipath fading effect is shown and studied in the terms of probability density function (PDF) and cumulative distribution function (CDF). The results show that the distance error is low at position near transmitter, slightly increased as the path loss exponent decreases and significantly increased as the deviation of multipath fading effect increases.","PeriodicalId":441430,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Technology (ICEAST)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117044557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
