The process is influenced by several factors, such as process parameters, process costs, and production environments. Analyzing and optimizing all these factors together requires extensive analytical techniques that are not available for real-case industrial entities. This paper presents a practicebased framework to improve the electroplating production line performance in order to reduce product flow time and waiting time while increasing total throughput with minimum number of defective products so as to establish sustainable operations and improve system performance. The proposed approach respectively uses Design of Experiments (DOE), Discrete-Event Simulation (DES), and Theory of Constraints (TOC) to identify the most significant factors affecting the production process and simulate a real production line to recognize the effect of these factors and assign possible bottlenecks. Several scenarios are generated as a corrective strategy for improving the production line. Following that, Data Envelopment AnalysisCharnes, Cooper, and Rhodes (CCR) input-oriented DEA model is used to evaluate and optimize the suggested scenarios.","PeriodicalId":440630,"journal":{"name":"MSA Engineering Journal","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122045956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This type of research may be found to examine the interaction of a distinct self-gravitating, dielectric fluid, with densities , with density is displayed. A relation to detect the dispersion is constructed analytically explained, and confirmed these results with the numerical computations. The governing equations (equation of motion and equation of continuous) are obtained, providing that the boundary conditions are appropriate. The di-electric streaming system is caused due to the electrodynamic force. The resultant streaming system may give rise to reduce stability for both short and long wave durations. There are unstable and stable zones; however, the system is entirely unstable with an endlessly high growth rate when . The misconception is given when architects design built environments following the ADA regulations as a burden instead of using an innovative approach to accommodate the needs and expectations of all users. To ensure the operation of equitable spaces, an innovative architectural approach is needed. A universal space is a place where all people can fit, it is a space where people from all social categories and individual characteristics are equal and satisfied. The concept of a universal design is either used wrongly or divided into accessible or / and inclusive architecture. Therefore, the aim of this research is to investigate the significance of universal design and to put down relevant assessment criteria in order to create spaces and environments that everyone can use without feeling any discrimination. This research uses a scientific methodology to accomplish its goal by first reading the literature on universal design and its application in the design of spaces, and then by examining and comparing four chosen case studies: KWK Promes’ Przelomy centre for dialogue and Steven Holl’s winter visual art centre as international examples, Snohetta’s Bibliotheca Alexandrina as a regional example and Zaha Hadid’s Issam Fares Institute as a local example. These facts support the authors' argument that universal design is a solid starting point for appropriate design solutions to increase the equity of spaces and respond to the abilities and needs of a variety of users. As guidelines for the design of spaces, a series of recommendations are made about the effective use of this architectural approach.","PeriodicalId":440630,"journal":{"name":"MSA Engineering Journal","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125516810","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Wellness has become the holistic approach that raises a community’s quality of life. Wellness tourism is a form of therapy based on natural resources; it is used to treat patients as well as tourists who want to blend into the natural environment. Therefore, wellness tourism needs preservation through adapting sustainable approaches. Eco lodges, which are examples of sustainable architecture, can act as a protection tool for wellness destinations. Their signature architecture and unique built environment could promote wellness tourism. The promotion and development of wellness destinations could be supported by branding as an important marketing strategy. This research aims to present a matrix that can integrate the architectural elements of eco lodges and branding strategy elements. A comparative methodology is used to analyze branding strategies’ theories, models, and frameworks to propose the effective branding elements that could develop wellness eco lodges. Egypt is one of the countries that is endowed with a wide variety of natural resources and is a well-known nation for its ecotourism activities such as wellness activities. One of the most significant and underappreciated wellness destinations is Wadi El Natroun. It has distinguished by its salty lakes like El Hamra Lake, which has healing characteristics besides its religious significance and unique architectural character. Therefore, a branding strategy is proposed to develop and promote Wadi Natroun’s wellness abilities through eco lodge architectural elements.","PeriodicalId":440630,"journal":{"name":"MSA Engineering Journal","volume":"517 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123103555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the world needs to be eco-centric and pay more attention to other beings to assure a better quality of life and enhance the ecosystem. A major environmental challenge is urbanization, it is one of the main causes that made the urban biodiversity in Egypt suffer significantly. As cities grew, natural habitats were lost or fragmented, which caused biodiversity to diminish. Due to current urban expansion, it often appears difficult to strike a balance between human interests and urban wildlife demands. One of the approaches that could be taken to solve this problem is the animal-aided design method (AAD). AAD combines a number of urban planning disciplines, such as architecture, traffic planning, general urban planning, nature preservation, and landscape architecture, into planning and design in order to integrate the needs of animals while maintaining the needs of humans. The research aims to develop a framework based on an in-depth theoretical analysis, case studies, observational studies, surveys and design strategies concerning this topic using the principles and methods of AAD design to integrate animals and their needs in the Egyptian urban landscape in order to enhance the urban biodiversity in the Egyptian context. Moreover, to investigate the possibility of cohabitation designs between humans and animals. In other words, taking into account the presence of animals in the","PeriodicalId":440630,"journal":{"name":"MSA Engineering Journal","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126456630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
