Lumban Suhi-suhi tourist village, located at Pangururan sub-district in Samosir Island, is famous for its handcrafted ulos. However, inadequate tourism facilities regulation has made the area less attractive. Therefore, the concept of environment-based arrangement is proposed to be applied in the village to improve its facilities. The qualitative approach was carried out through observation and interviews. Triangulation method was carried out in analysing the collected data with relevant theories. The concept is eligible to increase visitors as well as to maintain environmental sustainability. Keywords: Tourism Village; Site Arrangement; Sustainable Tourism; Lumban Suhi-suhieISSN: 2398-4295 © 2019. This study aims to identify the tourists’ experience as well as their purchase intention of local Malaysian food. The findings of 202 international tourists at Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur highlighted both the characteristics of local Malaysian food and environmental factors as significant influences in the tourists’ willingness to purchase and to savour local food again. Their potential return visit to the country will benefit the tourism industry and the country’s foreign exchange. Keywords: Environmental Factors; Gastronomy Tourism; Malaysian Local Food, Purchase IntentioneISSN 2398-4295 © 2019. This study compared the preferences of danchi and apartment residents to examine the neighbourhood park preferences as well as factors in park preferences. This research was conducted in three stages, including a spatial preference survey, analysis, and interpretation. Welch’s t-test and factor analysis were applied. Results demonstrated three significant differences between danchi and apartment residents, namely park preference, length of visit, and park elements. There were seven factors of park preferences. These results may help urban planners optimise existing features of neighbourhood parks to encourage use. Keywords: landscape preference; neighbourhood park; urban green space; green space management experience; exposure towards green spaceeISSN 2398-4295 © 2019. This study was designed to evaluate the cognitive function of undergraduate University students (aged: 19-25) which ride a motorcycle as a primary mode of transportation.
