Airports and airline companies are considered as two important components in flight activities. Those components construct an interconnected air transportation network. The highly connected network is susceptible against some disruptions. We simulate disruptions in two percolation scenarios, specifically random failures and hub-based attacks. The disruption consequences are examined through network robustness approach. The size of survived connected component and survived link is used as the network robustness measurement. Understanding air transportation network robustness is necessary since the air transportation inefficiency generates a huge level of economic and social costs. Air transportation is a notable and efficient transportation mode in Indonesia since having a wide-spread maritime territory. This research presents an insight of air transportation network robustness under disruptions with domestic flights in Indonesia as a case study and experiment. We discover that flight activities form a scale-free network with heavy-tailed distribution. Air transportation network is robust under random failures but extremely fragile under hub-based attacks. The backwash function is a way to clean the filter media with clean water by changing the direction of the water flow, intending to clean the filter media from the dirt after the filtration process. Typically, the turbidity level of water must be below NTU 25 with pH value between 6-8. In this research, we develop a system to monitor turbidity levels on water filter tank and to perform automatic backwashing function. We apply Fuzzy Logic Controller to control the backwash process if the filter media is very dirty or very saturated, which is indicated by the turbidity level of water in the filter output exceeds the standard NTU limit. The uses of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in Super Resolution has been widely applied and has impressive performance results. It encourages the use of CNN to translate the captured images by low-resolution into a better resolution. In this paper, we propose a new architecture to perform image translation from low-resolution into a higher one using DenseNet with Skip-connections. The dataset used is taken from the DPED (DSLR-Photo Enhancement Dataset) which contains images captured from different cameras simultaneously. To get results that can be used by all camera models, a transfer learning scenario is added. Implementation of IDS on Software Define Network architecture (SDN) has drawbacks. IDS on SDN architecture might decreasing network Quality of Service (QoS). So the network could not provide services to the existing network traffic. Throughput, delay and packet loss were important parameters of QoS measurement. Snort IDS and bro IDS were tools in the application of IDS on the network. Both had differences, one of which was found in the detection method. Snort IDS used a signature based detection method while bro IDS used an anomaly based detection method. The difference between them had effects in handling the network traffic through it. In this research, we compared both tools. This comparison are done with testing parameters such as throughput, delay, packet loss, CPU usage, and memory usage. From this test, it was found that bro outperform snort IDS for throughput, delay , and packet loss parameters. In improving tourism industry, it is necessary to develop an effort to balance out the potential demand and supply. Therefore, an accurate forecasting model is needed as the baseline of strategic resource planning as an effort to maximize the utilization and efficiency of the available resources. The objective of this research is to build an accurate forecasting model for Indonesian tourism demand. We use Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Consumer Price Index (CPI) and exchange rate from 5 major visitor countries of Indonesia as independent variable to predict Indonesian tourist arrivals number. Some of the main concerns in forecasting are non-linear relationship and high-fluctuation in data. By nature, tourism is relatively seasonal and fragile. Seasons of boom and lows are frequent, alarming the survival of industry players. We apply artificial neural network backpropagation as it has the ability to adapt to changes in input data. This character makes this method a convenient alternative to the econometrics and time-series forecasting models. We produce a forecasting model for monthly tourist arrivals in Indonesia. In this study, the technique of developing Quran paraphrase was developed using Monolingual and word Alignment. The features used in the study are identical words, word sequences, Align PPDB. The construction of this paraphrase list uses two different versions of the Quran translation which are used as input, then will produce a paraphrase database from the corpus used as the output. The system uses Precision, Recall, and F1 as evaluation metrics. For this study, we examined previously published research articles to evaluate the online tools used in education, particularly for students to interact. Active interaction can enhance students’ critical thinking skills as they share ideas, discuss with friends and put their ideas across to justify their arguments in a positive and matured manner. The results indicate that social media, Moodle and the Edmodo learning management system are beneficial to this end. In this paper, the parallel computing for minimizing the CPU time of the SWE-Exner model approximation is elaborated. Here, OpenMP is used to execute the program of erodible dam-break wave simulation in parallel and gives the information about speedup and efficiency with 2 different computers. As the results, computer with AMD Rayzen(TM) 2400 has the best result for speedup with 3.6821 times faster than serial and efficiency 92.0530% when the final time at t = 60 s and Nx = 6400 points. {"title":"Chaos-based Cryptography for Transmitting Multimedia Data over Public Channels","authors":"A. Zaher, G. The secret message to be transmitted is first converted into a one-dimensional time series, that can be cast in a digital/binary format. The main feature of the proposed technique is mapping the two levels of every corresponding bit of the time series into different multiple chaotic orbits, using a simple encryption function. This one-to-many mapping robustifies the encryption technique and makes it resilient to crypto-analysis methods that rely on associating the energy level of the signal into two binary levels, using return map attacks. A chaotic nonautonomous Duffing oscillator is chosen to implement the suggested technique, using three different parameters that are assumed unknown at the receiver side. Synchronization between the transmitter and the receiver and reconstructing the secret message, at the receiver side, is done using a Lyapunov-based adaptive technique. Achieving stable operation, tuning the required control gains, as well as effective utilization of the bandwidth of the public communication channel are investigated. Two different case studies are presented; the first one deals with text that can be expressed as 8-bit ASCII code, while the second one corresponds to an analog acoustic signal that corresponds to the voice associated with pronouncing a short sentence. In Malaysia, a majority of the households are dual-earner families, leaving their elderly parents at home. Without caretakers to look after them, aging parents may be susceptible to accidents. Therefore, an elderly action recognition system which can automatically identify their actions and whereabouts at home is needed. In this paper, the development and testing of a wearable device with motion detection and indoor positioning based on Random Forest Classifier is presented. The experiment was conducted in a home environment (MMU Digital Home Lab). The action recognition system utilizes a gyroscope and an accelerometer to detect different types of motion which are walking, sitting, standing, sitting-down, standing-up, falling, and sleeping. The action recognition system can measure these motions with a 97.6% accuracy. On the other hand, the indoor positioning uses Bluetooth Low Energy beacon and scanners to pinpoint five locations which are living room, bedroom, kitchen, office and toilet with a 97.25% accuracy.
