These abnormalities are generally due to different color, texture or shape. Skin lesions are indicators of some disease or precursor of diseases. Automated skin lesion analysis will help the medical practitioners for timely and correct diagnosis and treatment of the disease. In this paper, effective edge detection for skin lesion detection is proposed. Dilation of a linear structure of specific dimension is used for enhancing the edges of the skin lesions. This results in better segmentation of the dermascopic image.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131901248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Life without electrical energy is inevitable. As these resources are confined, it is our moral and social responsibility to secure energy for future use. In context of this, the paper studies the way of energy utilization and identifies the fields where minimum energy wastage is possible. The amount of energy consumption within a building with its old equipment is compared with that by replacing it with new conventional equipment with a lower rate of energy consumption. Moreover, comparison of energy consumption is accomplished by replacing conventional energy resources with non-conventional resources like solar, wind, and biogas energy.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133593413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The financial markets, natural disasters, telecommunications among other are scenarios in which the data in the right moment could make a big difference. In this work, the “Bajo Giuliani” project is introduced. The project’s aim is related to the monitoring of the water level in the “Bajo Giuliani” lagoon (La Pampa, Argentina) for supporting the data-driven decision making and avoiding the floods in the rain season. With this purpose, the Processing Architecture based on Measurement Metadata (PAbMM) which is specialized in the Measurement and Evaluation (M&E) projects is used. The M&E projects are defined in terms of the C-INCAMI (Context-Information Need, Concept Model, Attribute, Metric, and Indicator) framework for fostering its consistency, interoperability, and automatization. The monitoring stations based on Wireless Sensor Networks are schematized and shown considering the geographic limitations related to the zone. Because the data stream is not limited in volume, and the persistent data could be necessaries for modeling the historical behavior, a synthesis strategy is proposed using the synopsis related to the entity under monitoring.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131654655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mostly it is done in the starting of the project life cycle. The vital activity in Agile project organization is a prediction of Software development this is because a project that is available in the beginning is not sufficient and moreover it is not clear because of the confliction. Getting accurate Effort Estimation for any software project has been a challenge always. In this paper fuzzy logic model is used to find Effort Estimation of Agile software development. In this model Fuzzy method is used to take the raw data of actual figures and output is given as the estimated effort available from industry. This way is more suitable when data is not available for analyzing by orthodox method. Basic idea is taken from Human where action and Inaction are not obvious, they are not clear. In this paper we will use three input variable to calculate Efforts estimation i.e User soty, Team Expertise and Complexity. In this manner, it is quite difficult to discover goals in more exact and clear simple way.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133138002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An event-local view can capture this dynamic evolution and offer an event-specific local view of the social graph. In this paper, a novel framework is proposed to offer such a view of the underlying social network of a literary text accentuated with the emotion inter-play. It does this by integrating several pieces together i.e. extraction of character names with co-reference resolution, sentiment based windowing to identify main events in the text, detection of the underlying social graph of characters based on co-occurrence in the context of an event and supervised learning to detect emotions between characters. It delivers an integrated visualization to display the emotion interplay between main protagonists in the underlying social network in an event-specific manner. This is in contrast to the traditional static global views of the social graph made by analyzing the full text. Our work, by adopting an event-local view successfully captures the dynamic and evolving aspect of the underlying social graph.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115612792","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The common battery related problems faced by wireless sensor networks are discussed in this paper. Through this paper, we have demonstrated how we can monitor the battery status, and remotely diagnose battery related problems in the wireless sensor network. The software also features a GUI which allows the user to read the battery status of wireless sensor networks and change the polling rate of the remote node. The information about the status of the battery of the wireless sensor network can also be visualized in real time.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115656134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Reuse of existing Intellectual Property (IP) cores and software libraries as well as the integration of various technologies makes it impossible for a single person to know all the details of the actual implementation. Often documentation is outdated or not even available. However, when activating (sub-)systems, debugging certain functionality, or including new team members, a detailed understanding is mandatory to converge to a reliable embedded device. Automation for design understanding provides tool support for understanding the functionality of unknown systems or functional units. It becomes critical for the systems which are available to a large number of users simultaneously. This research study demonstrates the usage of the model-driven architecture (MDA) to performance testing. We do this by extending our existing tool to generate test cases which are capable of checking performance specific behaviour of a system.In this paper from sequence diagrams, test cases are generated. First, we model the sequence diagram along with some parameters specific constraints, such as acceptable response time for an interaction which implements a particular functionality of the system. Next automated test cases are created based on the model mentioned above by MDA transformation tools. These tests cases are executable, and can be used to conduct performance testing of the system. We have provided a prototype implementation of this method using the Tefkat and MOFScript transformation tools (MTCGP). This paper provides details of this method and the tool that we have developed. MTCG-P has been applied to an example (ATM Simulation System) to demonstrate its viability and effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"160 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121181901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over these years, a lot of new models have been proposed and software component has become more and more important in technological projects. In addition, and perhaps more importantly, Software Engineering has strongly evolved and so have software development and testing methodologies, improving the classical waterfall method popular in the 70s. This poses some questions: Are the original models still applicable? Are there any software reliability models that take into account modern Software Engineering methodologies? What are the new concepts introduced by the modern Software Engineering methods? What are the new characteristics required to Software Reliability models in order to be applied to todays projects? In this paper, we address these questions by reviewing the academic and industrial research on Software Reliability and Engineering and analyze possible new proposals.","PeriodicalId":439047,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO)","volume":"221 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116070121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
