By elaborating examples of musical experience, to which Richir refers in his analyses of phantasy, it is shown that phantasy expresses itself as the originally affective dimension of experience, articulated by the correlation between the lived-bodiliness of phantasy (Phantasieleiblichkeit) and the sublime affectivity of the phenomenological apeiron. To this end, the systematic connection between music and phantasy, the concept of rhythm, the unique mobility of Phantasieleiblichkeit, and the sublime dimension of affectivity will be successively explored.","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116673817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although Richir does not ever explicitly claim it, it nevertheless plays a very fundamental role in his thought, particularly in the political field. By analyzing the different layers of meaning that characterize the human community, from the most established to the most archaic, we would like to defend the idea that what he calls in Du sublime en politique “utopian sociality” or even “the utopian community” is in truth the register of transcendental interfacticity. To do this, we will have to explain in what and how the socio-political link differs from the links of transcendental intersubjectivity and interfacticity. We will argue that, for Richir, it is phantasia and affectivity that hold the political community together. We will then explore what role transcendental interfacticity plays in the field of politics, more particularly in its articulation with the declination of absolute transcendence into political transcendence.","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129884200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It treats the movement of the appearance of Being (Seyn) in the concealment of the essence of truth, and moving from such a notion of “essence” (Wesen), it shows that the role of Phantasie falls within the seynsgeschichtliches Denken. The Heideggerian “Phantasie des Wesens” is thus studied through Holderlin’s poetry, which is central to the elaboration of the “thought of the history of being” in the thirties. It seems therefore, following Heidegger’s interpretation, that is from its own language (Sprache) that the metaphysical history of being can be rethought or “reinvented”. The paper rather explores the process of channeling Stimmung into Grund-stimmung, by which the Phantasie may be able to shape the experience of meaning.","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127083457","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This revision includes the Freudian concept of “evenly hovering attention” (gleichschwebende Aufmerksamkeit) that Lehmann describes as the spectator’s optimal disposition of reception, and the concept of “perceptual multistability” which in Fischer-Lichte’s theory is meant to outline the spectator’s instability in the perception of the actor and the represented character. I will rethink the phenomenalization of the above mentioned phenomena primarily by introducing Marc Richir’s thoughts concerning the primacy of phantasia over perception and his description of the experience of the sublime. I will argue that the phenomenon of theatrical performance (in several cases) can be the ground of a collectively performed act of symbolic and aesthetic Stiftung.","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128401491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hypothesis discussed in this paper is that, far from being a constant basis for our acts of imagination, affectivity rather interrupts and re-orients them toward new directions that cannot be consciously anticipated. Instead of understanding the affectivity of imagination as rooted in direct impression, I propose to understand it in terms of sudden infraction and contingent exposure to something that does not belong to the sphere of our conscious acts. While imagination and affectivity operate at two different levels of our subjective life, my aim is to show that their interference opens new world-perspectives and connects us to a larger human community. By cultivating contradiction in the life of our sensibility, imagination intensifies emotions that reveal the social and the cosmological dimension of our affectivity.","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"262 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114826778","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is divided in two parts. The first part deals with Eugen Fink’s Fundamental phenomena of human existence, which describes the theatrical experience as intertwining of affectivity and phantasy: on one hand, it consists in the phantasy-consciousness of the world of play (Weltspiel); on other hand, it implies an affective openness to the world of play. The second part is devoted to Marc Richir’s phenomenology, which allows investigating deeper the intertwining between affectivity and phantasy in the theatrical experience. First of all, it shows that the phantasy- consciousness involved in the theatrical experience is a “perceptive” phantasy. It also allows rethinking the affective dimension of the theatrical experience as sentiment of sublime. The paper ends with a comparison between the phenomenological perspectives of Fink and Richir, focused on the concept of μίμησις and on the metaphor of earth shaking (Erschutterung).","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129457838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article distinguishes first 3 conceptual models of the functioning of fantasy: (1) imagination as a weak version of perception; (2) productive imagination as a fundamental faculty; (3) fantasy as an archaic layer of consciousness. After presenting Husserl’s phenomenological theory of imagination and fantasy, the article focuses on three fundamental problems: (1) atmospheric fantasy and day dreaming; (2) fantasy and auto-affection; (3) the origin of phantasma that proves to be the most enigmatic question. The author argues for the possibility of establishing a link between Kantian schematism and Husserlian genetic phenomenology. This link is supposed to explicate the origin of phantasma. That is the way we can work out the concept of schematised affectivity.","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126213545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In contrast to Freud, Derrida does not merely analyse inner-psychic mourning processes that only occur after a concrete experience of loss which can be successfully processed. Rather, he explores the possibilities of an ‘impossible mourning’ that always-already begins before the actual loss of a desired object and never comes to a closure. Because the phantasmatic incorporation of the transcendent other both opens up and undermines the subject’s self-relation in the work of mourning, it is assigned a quasi-transcendental status: quasi-transcendental insofar as the conditions of the possibility of being oneself simultaneously mark the conditions of the impossibility of having recourse to a self-present and self-identical subject. The aim is to work out the key role of Derrida’s modification of transcendental imagination, whose syntheses are at work in the spectral images of the other that haunt us in a ghostly way. As an image of the other within me that gazes at or affects me in the imagination and thereby conditions my phantasmatic constitution as a split self, its internalised trace forms the inaccessible place of self-formation in the work of mourning.","PeriodicalId":438923,"journal":{"name":"AUC INTERPRETATIONES","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128487589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The latter is only a formal indication (formale Anzeige), which is useful to make thought proceed, but which cannot escape its final destruction.
