But this topic is still a \"black box\" to most people. This scientific paper explains our research, which has the fundamental objective of overcoming this - in perspectives of participation, transparency and benefit. We are providing an online tool with game-based elements for both target groups - electromobilists and interested people. By answering 15 questions about mobility conditions and preferences, the game - \"Elektr-O-Mat\" - creates a personal benefit for each user through a ranking of seven electromobility options. Moreover, our game-based socio-technical experiment is a honeypot, delivering valuable empirical data on a societal level with interesting results and lessons learned. The successful validation with almost 2000 users over a time span of 4 months shows the potential impact for further innovation challenges such as Smart Cities, the \"Energiewende\" or the Internet of Things.","PeriodicalId":437466,"journal":{"name":"eChallenges e-2015 Conference","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134316317","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Testing the European Payment Payment Order across borders outlines a real challenge not only for the public administrations (mainly courts), but also for the business environment and citizens - as is reducing time, unnecessary expenditures and is facilitating more rapid and efficient exchanges among all involved parties. This paper aims to provide insight into the entire flux of responsibilities and interoperable solutions designed by the e-CODEX consortium in supporting all these initiatives that are demonstrating that e-Justice, as we know it today, will encourage Member States to follow common procedures - with a preference for e-CODEX and the e-Justice Portal - not as options that are replacing the existing national systems, but as opportunities in setting up a common European path in the field of e-Justice.","PeriodicalId":437466,"journal":{"name":"eChallenges e-2015 Conference","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128278939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However attendance at lectures has been linked to academic success and is of concern for faculty staff contemplating the introduction of Video Lecture Capture. This research study was devised to assess the impact on learning of recording lectures in computer programming courses. The study also considered behavioural trends and attitudes of the students watching recorded lectures, such as when, where, frequency, duration and viewing devices used. The findings suggest there is no detrimental effect on attendance at lectures with video materials being used to support continual and reinforced learning with most access occurring at assessment periods. The analysis of the viewing behaviours provides a rich and accessible data source that could be potentially leveraged to improve lecture quality and enhance lecturer and learning performance.","PeriodicalId":437466,"journal":{"name":"eChallenges e-2015 Conference","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134225169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, some e-Government, e-business, e-commerce, and other e-services are impossible without electronic documents having the same legal power as signed paper documents, in particular official electronic documents being in the accounts of public sector institutions. The research performed shows that official electronic documents are practically used only inside the individual countries, whereas their use on cross-border basis is being constrained or even blocked by an unsolved interoperability problem. In order to identify ways, which would ensure seamless exchange of official electronic documents, this paper investigates and describes the current use of e-documents across all EU countries. The obtained results allowed to classify the formats of electronic documents used in different Member States and define an approach to interoperability by introducing the concept of national platform of electronic documents.","PeriodicalId":437466,"journal":{"name":"eChallenges e-2015 Conference","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127597826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
