The paper is the continuation and the generalization to the 3D cases our previous publications. As it is known, the same directivity pattern, at the given frequency, could be obtained with the different current distribution on different antenna surface. The problem is reduced to the finding of the more or less optimal current distribution, which is unique. This means the minimal values of the: currents, reactive near field values and also the best matching between antenna and radiation. In the given work is confirmed that the optimal currents' distribution is related to the fundamental singularities of the radiated field.","PeriodicalId":437134,"journal":{"name":"2015 XXth IEEE International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115681201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem is solved in terms of the velocity potential using the mode matching technique and the analytical regularization procedure. Using the mode matching technique and the property of orthogonality of associated Legendre functions the initial diffraction problem is reduced to the infinite system of linear algebraic equations (ISLAE). By means of the analytical regularization procedure, ISLAE is reduced to ISLAE of the second kind, which allows one to obtain the solution with the given accuracy. The numerical results of far-field radiation is given.","PeriodicalId":437134,"journal":{"name":"2015 XXth IEEE International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128324744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The vibrator may have surface impedance distributed over its length. Asymptotic expressions for the current on a horizontal impedance vibrator placed over an infinite plane, obtained by averaging method were used. Full radiation fields in all observation space in the far zone were found by the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction. The directive gain and other characteristics of the resonant impedance vibrator placed above an infinite plane and square screen versus the vibrator dimensions, the surface impedance value, removing from the screen, and screen sizes were studied.","PeriodicalId":437134,"journal":{"name":"2015 XXth IEEE International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128992084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
