Expressions for reflection coefficient in i-order iteration is obtained. Optimal iteration method, which extends application range of Schwarz method, is represented. Investigation of optimal iteration method convergence at different number of modes is performed. Reflection factor value at different wall thickness is obtained. A diffraction problem for infinite phased antenna array with dielectric-filled waveguides was solved. Relations between reflection factor and scan angle at fixed permittivity of dielectric filling is obtained. The results of comparison show that the algorithm is applicable for such kind of problems.","PeriodicalId":437134,"journal":{"name":"2015 XXth IEEE International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124775239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of portable electronic devices require multi-band compact antenna for operating for data and voice service. This paper presents the current state of art of the wearable antenna development, focusing on design and analysis issues. The investigation is focused on experimental characterization of multi-band miniaturized patch antenna using different electro textile substrate. The miniaturization is achieved by T-shape slot in the patch antenna and by using technique of mitering. By using technique of mitering extra part of metal is removed at the corner of the radiating patch resulting in reduction of capacitance and thus reducing the reflection coefficient as current null at the corner are removed. The antennas operating frequency consist of the industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band from 2.45 GHz to 6 GHz Band of communication. The antenna performance was investigated by analyzing its reflection coefficient, VSWR, impendence bandwidth, and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for human blood. The simulation results show that there are various effects on bandwidth and frequency of operation as the structure of antenna is varied due to bending of radiating patch and flexible substrate.","PeriodicalId":437134,"journal":{"name":"2015 XXth IEEE International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"153 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133883446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents the in-depth analysis of the factors affecting the convergence rate of null steering antenna utilizing power inversion algorithm. Apart from choosing optimum value of step size, factors like number of snapshots, signal structure, DOA of signals etc can also affect the convergence rate which can degrade the performance of null steering array to null the interference efficiently. Simulations show that the properly designed array with optimized parameters can achieves faster convergence and produces deeper nulls. By choosing optimum values of these parameters null steering antenna utilizing power inversion algorithm becomes more robust and efficient.","PeriodicalId":437134,"journal":{"name":"2015 XXth IEEE International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126392953","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
