This paper presents the in-depth analysis of the factors affecting the convergence rate of null steering antenna utilizing power inversion algorithm. Apart from choosing optimum value of step size, factors like number of snapshots, signal structure, DOA of signals etc can also affect the convergence rate which can degrade the performance of null steering array to null the interference efficiently. Simulations show that the properly designed array with optimized parameters can achieves faster convergence and produces deeper nulls.
