This study aims to analyze the development of Kahoot game-based learning media so that it can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The research data was taken from informatics teachers and class VII students at SMPN 2 Bengkulu Selatan. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative sequentially. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and written tests. The development model used is 4D, consisting of 4 main stages, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. In this study, the questionnaire respondents consisted of 32 students and 2 Informatics teachers at SMPN 2 Bengkulu Selatan. The data distributed is in the form of the feasibility of the content of the material which is validated by material experts 83% \"valid\", evaluation experts 81% \"valid\". Furthermore, the test results obtained an average pretest score of 45.2 students and a student posttest of 87.2 where there was an increase in value of 42%. Finally, the assessment of student responses to the use of Kahoot obtained a percentage of 93% \"very good\". So it can be concluded that the Kahoot game media can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.","PeriodicalId":437051,"journal":{"name":"IJOEM: Indonesian Journal of E-learning and Multimedia","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124889128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects in this study were class II students at SDN 52 Bengkulu City, namely 26 students consisting of 12 students and 14 female students. The object under study is the increase in the ability to use capital letters. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests. The research instrument uses a test to measure students' ability to use capital letters. Observation to assess the teaching and learning activities carried out. The results of the study in the first cycle showed that students' ability to use capital letters was still low. The results of the observation sheet on the implementation of lesson plans in cycle I obtained low results. The results of the study in cycle II the ability to use capital letters improved to be good. In cycle II the observation sheet for the implementation of lesson plans obtained good results. These results have reached the criteria of success. Thus, this research has been terminated.","PeriodicalId":437051,"journal":{"name":"IJOEM: Indonesian Journal of E-learning and Multimedia","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129235177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data analysis technique in this study used a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a needs questionnaire which was distributed directly to PAUD teachers. This research was conducted in Bengkulu City in April. The population of this study were PAUD teachers from several PAUD, namely PAUD Delima, PAUD Al-khanza, PAUD Lukman Nur Hakim and PAUD Abdan Sakura. In this study, direct observation techniques and questionnaires were used by teachers to determine the level of needs and abilities of PAUD teachers for learning media that utilize educational technology. Data analysis techniques in this study used quantitative data analysis techniques and concluded quantitatively. Quantitative analysis techniques, in this case a questionnaire on the needs and abilities of PAUD teachers, are based on the answers to a research questionnaire filled out by 18 PAUD teachers. Each question item used in the questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability to find out whether the instrument was feasible to use to obtain the data needed by the researcher. In this study, the results of a needs questionnaire were obtained by 89%, meaning that teachers needed digital-based learning media, namely the use of technology. The results of distributing the teacher's ability questionnaire by obtaining results of 86% were in the very agree category. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that teachers already have the ability to use technology, but still need various direct applications.","PeriodicalId":437051,"journal":{"name":"IJOEM: Indonesian Journal of E-learning and Multimedia","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129287712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Additionally, the effectiveness of using LMS-based teaching materials in promoting learning independence within the Computer Network and Telecommunications Engineering (TJKT) competency program is examined. The research follows a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. These stages provide a systematic and effective framework for developing LMS-based teaching materials. The participants in this study include teachers and students from SMKN 1, SMKN 3, and SMKN 6 in Bengkulu City. Data collection methods include expert assessments, learner independence questionnaires, and tests. The collected data will be analyzed using statistical techniques such as mean and t-tests, while expert validation will employ a Likert scale. The research findings indicate that the teaching materials developed in this study are suitable for students, and the utilization of LMS-based teaching materials has proven to enhance learner independence.","PeriodicalId":437051,"journal":{"name":"IJOEM: Indonesian Journal of E-learning and Multimedia","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132149410","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
