Cinnamon trees are peeled and the process of drying cinnamon is carried out to dry. Cinnamon is sold in stick form and involves marketing institutions. Cinnamon bark is used as a spice ingredient such as food mixes, cake making, drinks, medicines and aroma therapy. The purpose of this study is to identify marketing channels in the study area, to analyze the amount of marketing costs and margins of each marketing channel. The research was conducted in Tidore Island, Tidore Islands City, North Maluku Province in 2022. Farmer respondents were taken by census while traders used snowball sampling method. Data were analyzed using marketing margin analysis, marketing cost, marketing profit and farmer's share. Distribution research and cinnamon marketing margin in Tidore City there are 3 models of marketing channel distribution which involve various marketing institutions. The value of cinnamon marketing margins at the farm level in each channel, respectively, amounted to Rp11,050/bunch. While other marketing actors range from Rp5,000 - 20,000 / bunch depending on the profit and the pattern of marketing channels for cinnamon products. While the farmer's share of cinnamon products shows that the marketing channel is efficient, by showing marketing channel 1 the share received by farmers reaches 44.2%. The highest profit to cost ratio in marketing channel 2 was 372.13.","PeriodicalId":436898,"journal":{"name":"Agrikan Jurnal Agribisnis Perikanan","volume":"817 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114377414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, efforts to adaptation and mitigate the impacts of climate change need to be carried out massively through various positive activities, including outreach and education to increase the knowledge and understanding of various parties related to this matter. Socialization and educational activities were carried out on December 5, 2021 with the theme 'Blue Carbon and Mitigation Climate Change Action' which was organized by the Biology Study Program Student Association, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Islam Malang, and was attended by 40 participants from students and alumni which took place online using zoom meeting app. Data collection using a questionnaire as a form of evaluation was divided into two stages, including: 1) pre-test questionnaire before presentation of discussion, and 2) Post-test questionnaire after delivery of presentation and discussion. The results of the socialization found that relatively many participants had minimal knowledge and understanding of the greenhouse gases effects, climate change and their impact on life, including mitigation efforts, but the evaluation results showed positive changes in this regard. With increased knowledge and understanding it is hoped that it will influence their behavior to be actively involved in mitigating the impact of global climate change now and in the future. So that activities like this need to be continuously followed up in academic and non-academic activities in college, as a form of environmental education implementation. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":436898,"journal":{"name":"Agrikan Jurnal Agribisnis Perikanan","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121119847","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the study was to find out whether the line hauler tool can solve problems in the operation of tuna handlines. Research time September to November 2022 in Sorong City. Catch data collection was carried out during research activities, the research method used experimental fishing. Experimental fishing was carried out with 2 treatments, namely control fishing line and handline with a line hauler for 16 trips/day. Control handlines had a total catch of 161 individuals, while handlines with line haulers had a total catch of 196 individuals. The results of the t test show that the use of the line hauler has an effect on the number of fishing gear settings. The effectiveness of the assistive devices can be seen from the different houling times between control lures and handlines with assistive devices, this time difference affects the number of settings produced during fishing gear operation, where the use of assistive devices results in a total of 196 settings and without tools 161 times setting. So the use of tools provides opportunities to get more fish compared to without tools. The value of the effectiveness of the use of assistive devices is 18%.","PeriodicalId":436898,"journal":{"name":"Agrikan Jurnal Agribisnis Perikanan","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121372932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
