Para avaliar desvios posturais e a extensibilidade do tronco, é possível utilizar a Spinal Alignment and Range of Motion Measure (SAROMM). Com o objetivo de aferir a fidedignidade da SAROMM e validar seu uso na prática clínica, realizou-se um estudo transversal com amostra de conveniência. Participaram 50 crianças na Etapa 1 (avaliação por vídeo, sem e com o uso do manual de instrução) e 25 crianças na Etapa 2 (avaliação presencial). Na Etapa 1, a confiabilidade intraexaminador apresentou concordância quase perfeita em todos os domínios (κ entre 0,98 e 1,0), exceto tornozelo, que apresentou concordância moderada (κ=0,62). A confiabilidade interexaminadores sem uso do manual não apresentou concordância (κ entre −0,00 e 0,10) e, com uso do manual, concordância fraca em todos os domínios (κ entre 0,41 e 0,59), exceto tornozelo, que apresentou concordância mínima (κ=0,20). Na Etapa 2, a confiabilidade interexaminadores apresentou concordância quase perfeita em todos os domínios (κ entre 0,93 e 0,97). A SAROMM possui excelente confiabilidade intra e interexaminador, sendo importante haver uma avaliação presencial com uso do manual de instruções.","PeriodicalId":436434,"journal":{"name":"Fisioterapia e Pesquisa","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130398878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A revisão integrativa da literatura partiu da seguinte pergunta: como são descritos os itinerários da reabilitação de pacientes que sofreram um AVC nos estudos qualitativos? As bases consultadas foram BIREME, MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO, utilizando os descritores DeCS/MeSH: “acidente vascular cerebral AND qualitativa”; “reabilitação AND acidente vascular cerebral”; “acidente vascular cerebral”; “pesquisa qualitativa”; “acidente vascular encefálico AND qualitativa”; “reabilitação AND acidente vascular encefálico”. Foram incluídos seis artigos, que destacaram a importância da integralidade do cuidado, o papel da família no processo de recuperação, a centralização dos serviços, a dificuldade com transporte e a indisponibilidade dos familiares e cuidadores como obstáculos no itinerário da reabilitação. Os resultados reforçam a necessidade de implementar melhorias no percurso de cuidado do paciente que sofreu AVC e a demanda pela integralidade do manejo.","PeriodicalId":436434,"journal":{"name":"Fisioterapia e Pesquisa","volume":"80 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124087278","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, this study sought to analyze whether there is an association between the time of physical activity practice and the level of pain self-efficacy in the population with pain during the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of São Paulo, controlled by biopsychosocial variables. This study was conducted via an online form with questions about sociodemographic aspects, weekly physical activity practice, stress and anxiety levels, pain intensity and pain self-efficacy (Pain Self-Efficacy Questionnaire - PSEQ-10). The analysis was determined by two models of multiple linear regression, with (Model A) and without (Model B) the control of data by psycho-emotional factors (anxiety and stress) in 150 subjects. An association was found between weekly physical activity practice time and pain self-efficacy level, Model A (p=0.0271, β=1.914) and Model B (p=0.0333, β=1.826). Pain intensity during the pandemic, body mass index (BMI) and sex, among the control variables, also were associated with the pain self-efficacy level. A higher time of physical activity practice was associated with a higher pain self-efficacy level in the population with musculoskeletal pain during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pain intensity during the pandemic, BMI and sex also were associated with pain self-efficacy level.","PeriodicalId":436434,"journal":{"name":"Fisioterapia e Pesquisa","volume":"120 7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124516799","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to evaluate the relationship between sleep bruxism (SB), awake bruxism (AB), and PH and HHP’s stress, anxiety, and depression in the post-pandemic period. Data were collected via an online questionnaire composed of four sections: sample characterization, “Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale” (DASS-21), “Oral Behavior Checklist” (OBC), and diagnostic questionnaire of SB from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. This is a descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with 118 responses (mostly females and nurses). A total of 99.2% of the sample presented PH, 38.1% SB, and 686% AB. Neste estudo, realizou-se uma pesquisa quantitativa de cunho exploratório que teve por objetivo a apresentação de indicadores para facilitar o acesso aos serviços de reabilitação física no que tange às desordens musculoesqueléticas. Os dados foram colhidos dos prontuários de usuários residentes nas regiões noroeste e oeste de Belo Horizonte (MG), com mais de 18 anos de idade, submetidos a acolhimento no Centro Especializado em Reabilitação IV no ano de 2019. Obtiveram-se os seguintes indicadores: absenteísmo no momento da avaliação; tempo médio para início do tratamento de acordo com a prioridade; tempo médio de tratamento; e média de usuários atendidos ao mês. A análise deste estudo foi pautada em 362 prontuários. O tempo médio para início de tratamento foi de aproximadamente 69 dias e o período médio de tratamento, de 94 dias. O serviço absorveu cerca de 30 novos usuários ao mês e apresentou índice de absenteísmo de 16,8%. Acredita-se que os indicadores apresentados possivelmente favorecerão a gestão e o controle das filas de espera dos serviços de reabilitação do SUS.","PeriodicalId":436434,"journal":{"name":"Fisioterapia e Pesquisa","volume":"6 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132732255","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Usually, monitoring consists of a manometer to keep the Pcuff between 20 and 30cmH2O. The minimal occlusive volume (MOV) method minimally inflates the cuff using a syringe so that no leakage occurs. This study aims to evaluate the ability of the minimal occlusive method to individualize the Pcuff adjustment in mechanically ventilated patients. Cross-sectional prospective study with 25 adult patients with more than 48 hours of mechanical ventilation. Cuff pressure was measured at two moments: initial and by MOV. The prevalence of Pcuff outside the normal range was 76%. Leakage in the initial measurement occurred in 9 patients, 4 of whom were within the reference values. The other 5 patients presented Pcuff<20cmH2O. In the adjustment by the MOV method, all patients presented Pcuff at the limit of normality. Patients without leakage with Pcuff>30cmH2O had a reduction when adjusted for MOV (45.4±9.6 against 28.5±1.6cmH2O; p<0.001). We can conclude that the minimal occlusive volume method was able to individualize the Pcuff within the reference values in all patients.","PeriodicalId":436434,"journal":{"name":"Fisioterapia e Pesquisa","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129786532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evidence on the effect of the shoe characteristics and prescription in running injuries are scarce. Thus, this study aimed to investigate runners's process of choosing running shoes and to verify whether the variables related to running shoes and their selection process are associated with the presence and recurrence of injuries in the previous year. An observational study was conducted with 254 runners who answered a self-reported questionnaire about demographics, sports practice, shoe characteristics and selection criteria, and injuries in the last 12 months. The chi-square test evaluated whether there was a difference in the distribution of answers to each question. The logistic regression evaluated whether the variables related to shoes and selection criteria predicted injury’s presence and recurrence in the previous year. The results showed that most runners had specific shoes for sports practice and considered some characteristics of the shoes to choose them, including intermediate cushioning and a difference in the heel-to-toe drop of approximately 10mm. Most respondents indicated knowing their foot type but not considering it when choosing shoes. Besides, most individuals did not use foot orthotics and did not receive guidance to select their shoes. The model obtained with the regression was not significant. Therefore, despite considering shoe characteristics when choosing it, these features and the selection criteria were not associated with the presence and recurrence of injuries in the previous 12 months.","PeriodicalId":436434,"journal":{"name":"Fisioterapia e Pesquisa","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123166248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
