To fabricate the graphene n-p-n junctions, commensurable superlattice structures consisting of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) have been formed utilizing a Langmuir-Blodgett technique. It has been shown that the p-n graphene junctions are sensitive to graphene lattice-deformation defects only. The levels of graphene defect do not host impurity electrons. One offers a mechanism of graphene monolayer self-repairing after a radiation damage. This mechanism is based on an existence of topologically protected Compton scatterers in graphene plane.","PeriodicalId":43601,"journal":{"name":"Nonlinear Phenomena in Complex Systems","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44499149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To ensure cyber resilience of modern industrial systems, it is necessary to detect anomalies in their work at an early stage. For this, data from industrial systems are presented as time series, and an adaptive prediction model combined with machine learning classification algorithm applies to identify anomalies. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is confirmed experimentally.","PeriodicalId":43601,"journal":{"name":"Nonlinear Phenomena in Complex Systems","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44669078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is established that for the range of wave numbers corresponding to microscopic spatial scales, the memory functions of the first four orders are characterized by oscillating behavior. This feature indicates that the model memory functions in the case of phenomenological description of the dynamics of the density fluctuations can not have the form of monotonically decreasing functions. The frequency characteristics of the dynamic structure factor for a wide range of wave numbers are calculated. The convergence of the relaxation parameters Δ4(k) and Δ5(k) for the range of wave numbers from the hydrodynamic regime (k → 0) to the values of k is higher than the boundary of the first pseudo-Brillouin zone (for k ≈ 0.87km) are detected. The characteristic time scales of the process of structural relaxation of the density fluctuations are determined.","PeriodicalId":43601,"journal":{"name":"Nonlinear Phenomena in Complex Systems","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43559859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We fix W = 4 and investigate how the properties of the system's normal modes change as we approach its ordered version, i.e. D → 0. We show that the probability density distribution of the normal mode's frequencies takes a 'U'-shaped profile as D decreases. Furthermore, we use two quantities for estimating the mode's spatial extent, the so-called localization volume V (which is related to the mode's second moment) and the mode's participation number P. We show that both quantities scale as ∝ D−2 when D approaches zero and we numerically verify a proportionality relation between them as V/P ≈ 2.6.","PeriodicalId":43601,"journal":{"name":"Nonlinear Phenomena in Complex Systems","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-01-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48302391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The GALIk is an efficient chaos indicator, which asymptotically attains positive values for regular motion when 2≤k ≤N, with N being the dimension (D) of the torus on which the motion occurs. By considering several regular orbits in the neighborhood of two typical simple, stable periodic orbits of the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam-Tsingou (FPUT) β model for various values of the system's degrees of freedom, we show that the asymptotic GALIk values decrease when the order k of the index increases and when the orbit's energy approaches the periodic orbit's destabilization energy where the stability island vanishes, while they increase when the considered regular orbit moves further away from the periodic one for a fixed energy. In addition, by performing extensive numerical simulations we show that the behavior of the index does not depend on the choice of the initial deviation vectors needed for its evaluation.","PeriodicalId":43601,"journal":{"name":"Nonlinear Phenomena in Complex Systems","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46162202","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
