The model provides support for the design of exact and fast and practically convenient algorithms. The ERP is viewed as a constrained longest path problem in a graph whose objective is to maximize the total profit under resource and information constraints. This study develops an exact algorithm and a new fast epsilon-approximation algorithm (FPTAS), which are proved to be efficient with respect to the time complexity. Finally, some open questions are proposed for future research.","PeriodicalId":433830,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Engineering, Management Science and Innovation (ICEMSI)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123824107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Questionnaires were distributed to visitors to Mainland China by means of the Internet. The findings revealed that electronic word of mouth and the image of Macanese gastronomy tourism obviously indicated positive effects, suggesting that both are leading factors in attracting tourists, therefore boosting the travel industry in Macau. The findings also provided evidence for the Macau Government tourism office and website operators to effectively promote the image of gastronomy tourism in Macau. Additionally using the Internet to motivate tourists to travel for gastronomy reasons could create a reasonably valid construct to use for market segmentation purposes.","PeriodicalId":433830,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Engineering, Management Science and Innovation (ICEMSI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125434205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To depict the heteroskedastic characteristic of interbank offered rate, we establish a basic SV model and estimate the parameters using a typical MCMC numerical approach named Gibbs sampling. Using two experiments based on scenarios of having a haircut and visiting a restaurant, data are collected for analyzing how perceived trust to the service provider impact the ways that customers attribute their service experiences. A field survey has also been designed to test the robustness the findings of the two experiments in real service setting. The findings of the studies support the effect of trust on customer service attributions. Compared to low trust customers, high trust customers are more likely to attribute negative service experiences to external, uncontrollable, and unstable factors, and attribute positive service experiences to internal, controllable, and stable causes.","PeriodicalId":433830,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Engineering, Management Science and Innovation (ICEMSI)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124807730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, its performance on large-scale data is unsatisfactory because of its high computational cost. Although many methods have been proposed to alleviate this, they are mostly indirect methods, i.e, they do not improve the DTW algorithm itself. In this paper, we propose to incorporate the Ordered Graph Search (OGS) and the lower bound for DTW into an improved DTW algorithm and apply it on time series data. Extensive experiments show that the improved DTW algorithm is faster than the original dynamic programming based algorithm on multi-dimensional time series data. It is also especially useful in the post-processing stage of searching in large time series data based on DTW distance.","PeriodicalId":433830,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Engineering, Management Science and Innovation (ICEMSI)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123884375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
