For example, diagnosis process is strongly influenced by the subjectivity of the doctor, this is primarily due to exposure of patient chest area during the process of measurement. One solution to cope with this problem can be done by allocating doctors and patients in separate rooms. Hence, this was the main motivation of our work. In this paper, we examine the use of a wireless tele-auscultation system for transmitting and recording phonocardiograph signal. The data is transmitted through the Zigbee-like (called the Xbee) networks in local area networks. Based on the study, it is shown that the Type A loss can be omitted without affecting the validity of the received signal as long as time length of measurement is longer than the transmission delay. In terms of the Type B loss, it can be argued that the transmission process is considered as valid, i.e. even though there are loss packets, the number of the loss packets is not significant. In addition to that, it can be observed that variation of the sampling period and the serial interface data rate do not contribute well to the improvement of the throughput the streaming heart sound signal transmission. However, the current method or approach still have drawbacks in the sense that there are trade-offs between efficiency and privacy preservation. This paper describes our work towards providing a new efficient PPARM protocol. We reviewed current literature on PPARM and mapped the methods or approaches involved. As previous research showed that Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) perform better than the other Public Key systems such as RSA and Diffie-Hellman, we will utilize ECC for reducing the computational cost of the new PPARM protocol. In choosing good elliptic curves for ECC, we measured the running time of the key generation for various group of recommended elliptic curves i.e. Brainpool curves (by Brainpool), Prime, C2pnb, C2tnb curves (by ANSI X9.62), Secp curves (by SECG), and PrimeCurve curves (by CDC Group). Recently, both industry and academia are attracted to IEEE 802.15.4 because of its applicability in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and wireless body area sensor networks (WBANs). An important feature of IEEE 802.15.4 is the very low duty cycle operation to conserve sensor node's energy. In this paper, we propose a traffic aware dynamic super-frame adjustment (TDSA) algorithm that adjusts super-frame through two MAC layer parameters: Beacon Order (BO) and Super-frame Order (SO). These parameters are adapted dynamically when changes are observed in traffic load. In TDSA, the PAN coordinator adjusts both BO and SO simultaneously based on different metrics: application data rate, receive ratio and number of source nodes. Detailed simulation analysis shows that TDSA is capable of meeting application's traffic load requirements by dynamically adjusting the super-frame structure. In this method selective encryption has been proposed for the H.264 video coding by an intention of expanding end user video quality. To keep the encrypted streaming format-compliance to the H.264/AVC standard decoder only I frames are encrypted with AES algorithm. The anticipated method can competently decrease the computing cost through improved quality along with bit-rate. Consequently the technique is extremely appropriate for real time operation. Compared to the other available techniques the performance of this scheme exhibited better benefits when tested on video sequence. Which include: negligible data processing delay by ciphering selected information, no bit rate acceleration by maintaining the compression ratio unaltered and format. Among available sparse reconstruction schemes, angle sparsity has shown a favorable advantage as it requires fewer samples compared to other schemes. Previous researches on angle sparsity utilized an exhaustive scanning on every possible arrival angles. This technique leads to a problem of large sensing matrix A. The result presented in this paper proves that partial scanning (i.e. non-exhaustive search) also gives similar accurate result. The advantage of this scheme is smaller sensing matrix. In simulation, this scheme requires sensing matrix six times less than the exhaustive search with similar accuracy. In [9], it is shown that the error probability of majority decision at the fusion center is almost constant regardless of network size. This constant property of error probability has not been discussed theoretically. In this paper, a new approach of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is proposed for the theoretical explanation on the constant property. A random tree network is presented to model a network with a large number of nodes randomly deployed over a field. The error probability of random tree network is analyzed for data fusion of end-nodes by SNR, which is shown to be useful to explain the constant property. It is proposed for networks with characteristics like small packet size, lossy links, low bandwidth, low data rate and low power resources. RPL is a single path routing protocol and the existing objective functions do not support creation of multiple routing paths between source and destination. Multipath routing can be used to achieve multifold objectives, including higher reliability, increased throughput, fault tolerance, congestion mitigation and hole avoidance. In this paper, M-RPL a multi-path extension of RPL is proposed that aims to provide temporary multipath routing during congestion over a path. Congestion is primarily detected by a forwarding node by monitoring packet delivery ratio and is mitigated by providing partially disjoint multipath routing. Detailed simulation analysis of M-RPL against RPL shows that using multi-path RPL reduces congestion and increases the overall throughput. Generally, the venue recommender system repeatedly suggests the same places every time that user requests for the attractive venues around the location. In fact, individual user has diverse interested in visiting places based on personalized activities according to time of day. To improve the venue recommendation, this paper proposes a context-aware venue recommender system. The contexts focus on the location of device and time of day. Each user has a defined individual category timeline. Every time user acts with the application, such as search or click, the activities are recorded in the system in order to improve the next recommendation results by modifying the category timeline of user. As a result, mobile companies need more capacity and higher efficiency to give the high quality service to the customers. LTE has been designed to get broader channels up to 20MHz, with low latency and packet optimized radio access technology. The peak data rate envisaged for LTE is 100 Mbps in downlink and 50 Mbps in the uplink. To support the simultaneous use of legacy and new systems, mobile companies need to give a better radio system, especially in central Phnom Penh city of Cambodia. The purpose of this study aims to designs, simulates, analyzes and expose the state of the art of map planning LTE radio system. Special focus is laid on radio link budget along with broad coverage area and capacity. The outcomes cover the interference limited coverage calculation, the traffic capacity calculation and radio frequency assignment. The implementation is attained on the software platform for the LTE Radio Planning and also can see the simulation antenna in Google Earth. The study will show a detailed LTE radio dimensioning procedure such as coverage area and capacity in Phnom Penh city.
