However, about a quarter of CCs \u0000occurs in women over the age of 65. Persistent high-risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV) infection is the most important factor \u0000leading to CC. In this study, we aimed to investigate the prevalence of cervical HR-HPV and cytological abnormalities in Turkish \u0000women aged 65 and over. \u0000Patients and Methods: A total of 467 women between the ages of 66-84 who were referred to the gynecology outpatient clinics for any \u0000reason between January 2010 and December 2021 were included in the study. Pap smears (liquid-based) of patients were screened for \u0000HPV DNA typing using the COBAS test system and evaluated cytopathologicaly. \u0000Results: The mean age of women was 72.4 years. The prevalence of HR – HPV was 5.1% (n = 24), HPV-16 and HPV-18 subtypes \u0000constituted 58.4% of all positive cases. The rate of cervical HR-HPV and cytological abnormalities were not statistically different \u0000between age groups. Of the women with a positive HR-HPV test in Pap smear, cytological abnormalities were found to be more \u0000frequent when compared to HR-HPV negatives (95.8%, n=23 vs 4.3%, n=19, p

The first response to the pandemic in our university hospital was to stop elective surgery on March 30, 2020, minimize \u0000outpatient consultations and reduce the number of patients in the wards. To determine the change in the number of patients admitted \u0000to our hospital, we examined the data during the pandemic process and compared them with the data of the previous year. \u0000Methods: The number of patients admitted to Pamukkale University Orthopedics and Traumatology Outpatient Clinic and Emergency \u0000Service for orthopedic and trauma injuries between March 1, 2020 and October 31, 2020 was documented and compared with the \u0000data of the same period in 2019. \u0000Results: During the pandemic period, the number of emergency and outpatient orthopedics and traumatology admissions decreased \u0000significantly by 15% and 42.93% respectively (p

Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to assess the effect of age, gender, observation \u0000time, and intervention type (announcement of asymptomatic COVID-19 case numbers and, announcement of nationwide curfew \u0000decisions) on correct facemask use prevalence. \u0000Results: Correct facemask usage prevalence in customers and sellers was 84.3% and 46.3%, respectively. The announcement of the \u0000number of asymptomatic COVID-19 cases had no statistically significant effect on correct facemask usage prevalence both among \u0000customers and sellers (p>0.05). After the announcement of the curfew decisions, correct facemask usage prevalence increased among \u0000customers (OR:1.24 (1.02-1.52)) and sellers (OR:1.64 (1.32-2.03)). \u0000Conclusion: The correct use of facemasks is not sufficient, especially among sellers. Patients and Methods: This cross-sectional online study assessed 1493 participants in Turkey. Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and the Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) were used. Results: The Youths (15-24 years) reported to experience more anxiety and PTSS than Adults (25-59 years). There were weak correlations between BAI, PCL-5 scores and duration of recovery and isolation in Adults infected with corona virus disease 19 (COVID-19), but not in Youths. Younger age and lower economic status were common factors for severe anxiety and PTSS, additionally history of mental health needs and loss of an acquaintance due to COVID-19 were specific predictors for anxiety, and having a medical condition was predictor for PTSS in Youths. In Adults, female, lower economic status, having a medical condition, history of mental health needs, and loss of an acquaintance due to COVID-19 were common factors for worsening both PTSS and anxiety, additionally younger age for PISS and being infected by COVID-19 for anxiety were specific predictors. Conclusion: Pandemic might have a greater impact on mental well-being of youths than adults. Identification of risk factors can shed light on planning, prevention and intervention strategies.
