This research establishes the association of flexible work arrangements with the work-life balance of gig workers. Besides, the moderation of Ryff's six-factor psychological well-being model is also investigated. The quantitative research method was used to collect data via an adapted questionnaire. The target population was the freelancers of selected five Facebook groups. SPSS-21 was used for descriptive and inferential statistics. For moderation, Peacher's and Hayes' process macro was performed. Data were collected from 384 respondents. After pilot testing, We performed data screening and data normality. Later, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, and correlation) and inferential statistics (hypotheses testing through regression) were performed. Flexible work arrangements have a direct and significant influence on work-life balance. The moderating role of Ryff's six-factor model of psychological well-being is not established. This research endows valuable recommendations to the gig economy and other home-shored businesses/organizations to provide flexible work arrangements during the COVID pandemic, so that they could balance their work and life responsibilities. The policy implications are provided in detail in the respective section. This study is unique as the gig sector is less explored in the South Asian context.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124827658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study started with an exploratory exercise, whereby in-depth interviews were conducted with Eighteen customers, using mall intercept techniques. Thematic analysis was used to examine data. The study results showed that cost, perceived value, social values, health consciousness, and purchase behaviour, Covid-19 have a positive impact on consumers’ purchase intentions. The findings of this study will help to Improve distribution channels to extend their competitiveness in the organic food market in Pakistan. Prices are high with other conventional food because the production of organic food is low in Pakistan, That’s why producers demand higher prices. On the consumer side, if he is prepared to pay higher prices, he wants to make sure the food is Organic. The reason is that there is no authentication, and certification of organic food production is a major issue, in Pakistan, no institution gives surety that organic food farms are registered from a specific year. Government should give certification, in this way when consumers satisfy then consumers intentions toward organic food purchasing should become higher. Government should Promote Organic fertilizer and its production, that’s why prices of green food items become less.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129503423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Five major export partners of Pakistan are USA, China, UK, Germany and UAE. While major import partners are USA, China, Indonesia., Saudi Arabia and UAE. Granger causality test was conducted using the stock returns from each stock exchange. The test was used to detect whether a change in the prices one stock exchange cause a change the prices of others. The results reveal that none of the exporting or importing country’s stock exchange cause any change in the Pakistan stock exchange neither does PSX cause any change in other stock exchanges. However, some countries like Shanghai and New York, Shanghai and Frankfurt show a unidirectional causality.","PeriodicalId":432891,"journal":{"name":"iRASD Journal of Management","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117223367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
