The models were built using real data of the photovoltaic power plant and the local meteorological station. Meteorological data include solar irradiation, ambient temperature, humidity, wind speed and cloud cover. The results of the forecast of gradient boosting, elastic regression and multilayer perceptron for horizons 1 and 24 hours were compared. Sensitivity to input factors was investigated using SHAP value.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122822003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concern of contradiction in the requirements of reducing load energy loss and mitigating voltage fluctuations by photovoltaic reactive power injection in the grid is also considered. An algorithm based on actual profiles of grid load and photovoltaic output has been developed to simulate the grid operating conditions. The studies have shown that the choice of an adequate photovoltaic inverter control method should be carried out by correctly analyzing the photovoltaic impact on the voltage fluctuations and energy loss in the grid.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"355 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122763586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As far as face recognition technologies usually exploit high-dimensional information it makes the processes of face recognition and identification computationally intensive. The purpose of this research is to overcome this problem by facing the challenges of low-quality image recognition. Therefore, there were studied the following issues of low-quality image recognition: area of face region, image resolution variety and image compression variety due to the file format. The experimental research was performed in three stages with the use of the Database of Faces, FERET and SCface database.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127622663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Determination of the switching frequency is based on the frequency spectrum of the load current, the value of the cutoff frequency of the transistors and the magnitude of power losses in the power switches. The proposed control system, depending on the harmonic composition of the load current, allows to reduce the modulation frequency and, thus, to reduce its own power losses in the active power filter.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"767 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131749661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The drive of this electric vehicle is based on a dual inverter connected to the open-windings induction motor. The rectifier of the integrated charger is based on the high-power factor AC-DC current source converter presenting Buck-Boost characteristics. This converter allows an easy integration in the electric vehicle charger, as well as zero average torque during the charging process. However, existing control systems for this front-end Buck-Boost rectifier are complex and hard to tune. To automate the rectifier vector selection, this paper proposes the use of a model predictive controller (MPC) to control the three-phase charger rectifier AC currents and the voltages capacitors of the dual inverter. Several simulation tests of the AC currents MPC controlled show nearly sinusoidal input currents and near unity power factor operation.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129003977","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
