MZI consists of two BTTs, and the interval between two BTTs is 2 cm. In this paper, we record the time when the fluid pumped with a peristaltic pump flows through two BTTS, and then drops a droplet into the liquid tube with a needle tubing meanwhile recording the time of the fluid flowing through the two BTTS. All the time can be obtained from the optical spectrum analyzer. Therefore, the volume of the droplet is equal to the velocity of the peristaltic pump multiplied by the cross section area of the liquid tube and the time difference between the two experiments. The weight of the droplet can be easily obtained, as long as we know its density. Here we show that hyperbolic slot waveguides, i.e., nanoscale plasmonic slot waveguides cladded by hyperbolic metamaterials can have greatly enhanced Kerr nonlinear effects at even shorter device lengths and lower pump power compared with the conventional metallic slot waveguides. The focusing reflector has designed on a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafer to apply in mushroom-mesa photodetector to increase bandwidth as well as efficiency simultaneously. Based on ray tracing theory, a simulation of multimode fiber transmission is implemented, and the transmission characteristics of both perfect and defective optical fibers are analyzed. Based on digital holography, the refractive index of multi-mode fiber OM2 and OM4 is measured by the refractive index of optical fiber testing system. We first experimentally demonstrated that the bit error ratio (BER) of DFT-Spread DMT signal with optimized Quadric Curve (QC) fitting-based pre-equalization outperforms Zero-Forcing based pre-equalization in O-band over 20-km transmission utilizing directly modulated laser (DML). We also experimentally demonstrated that DFT-Spread DMT signal with optimized QC fitting pre-equalization shows better BER performance than bit-loading DMT signal in 95Gbit/s signal transmission with 19GHz bandwidth.
