It can also navigate the knife-tip to appropriately resect a tumor. Our system estimates the position and orientation of the surgical knife and the target organ using two different distance sensors during surgery. The distance between the knife-tip and the blood vessels inside the organ is measured. In this paper, we report the verification of accuracy of the knife-tip position estimation. The experimental results show that the position estimation error of the knife-tip is 0.3 mm and the standard deviation is 0.3 mm.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125361636","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Time on task is one of factors that worsen fatigue, however, previous literatures limited their study into short simulated driving. Moreover, drivers in Indonesia frequently experience long duration driving caused by high traffic density. This study aims to determine fatigue classification based on ocular indicators in long duration driving condition. Classification of fatigue was conducted using Support Vector Machine (SVM). Twelve subjects participated in this study, and they were told to drive for three straight hours by driving simulator. Results showed improvements of blink duration, blink rate, PERCLOS, and microsleep by the end of three hours driving. Deterioration of saccadic velocity, saccadic amplitude, and pupil diameter were also occurred by the end of three hours driving. Results from Spearman rho suggest blink duration, PERCLOS, and microsleep as parameters that significantly correlated to KSS score. Radial basis function (RBF) was used as Kernel function since it has the highest accuracy compared to linear functions. SVM model indicated validity of seven ocular indicators as fatigue classification, with accuracy above 80%.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"129 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128859615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

FR is still a challenging task in real time applications even though they are a number of face recognition algorithms which are available and work in various constrained environment. The paper proposes a FR algorithm using Modified Local Ternary Pattern (MLTP) with multi class Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier. The MLTP features of the face images are classified by an Error-Correcting Output Code (ECOC) multiclass model with SVM. The proposed method is tested on six standard face databases. The experimental results have been demonstrated that the performance of MLTP with SVM can achieve higher recognition accuracy compared to the conventional methods.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134506352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When casters are used, vibrations and impacts occur due to the influence of the floor surface. Vibrations and impacts are transmitted to the carrier. Vibrations and impacts are a burden on wheelchairs and others using casters. Consider the burden as a physical burden and a mental burden. Heretofore, the physical burden is evaluated by acceleration. However, there is no indication of the mental burden evaluation index. Mental burden is digitized using electroencephalogram (EEG). We propose it as a new evaluation index. Measurement and analysis are performed, and significance is obtained by t-test. Perform fast Fourier transform on the brain waves. From the obtained data, the average value of “the Beta-waves divided by the Alpha-waves” was obtained and used as a new index. The mental burden can be quantified by changing the new indicator.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131025854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, based on management experts decision-making methods, the main factors affecting construction risk management are determined, and the security risk Bayesian network topology is constructed. Then use Bayesian network forward reasoning to predict the probability of construction risk in different situations, and analyze the cause of risk by combining backward reasoning. Finally, a sensitivity analysis based on the mutual information index method was used to identify the sensitive risk factors. Combining with the historical data of domestic construction projects, this method is applied to the practice of construction project safety risk management. The results show that the construction risk probability is 3.36%; It is the biggest risk factor that the safety risk existing is not solved timely in construction.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130948862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As one of the e-banking form, Mobile banking (m-banking) is a banking service that allows its customers to conduct financial transactions in real time using mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. Although there is an increasing number of mobile banking service users every year in Indonesia, the utilization of the actual mobile banking apps is still very low compared to other country in Asia. One of the problems that is often encountered by mobile banking's customers is the aspect of trust that can be influenced by interface and usability of mobile banking applications. Therefore, in order to achieve effective interaction between human-computers with minimal effort, various aspects of usability need to be the main focus in developing an application to support the effectiveness of human-computer interaction so that the initial goal of creating mobile banking to facilitate customer banking transactions can be achieved. Using four criteria of usability mesurement set by ISO, this research aim to evaluate three m-banking application from the largest bank in Indonesia which are Mandiri Mobile, BNI Mobile, and BCA Mobile. Evaluation and analysis from this research shows that BNI Mobile has the best usability among the other two application. Overall, the three mobile banking have quite good usability although there are still several aspects that need to be improved.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"45 7","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120816780","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was developed to identify overlapping clusters and outliers in an unsupervised manner. Python programming language was used for the development of the OCA. One of the methods used is the k-means algorithm, because of its simplicity to solve known clustering issues. The study also considered the use of median and median absolute deviation, it is known to be one of the most robust measures that are easy to use with the presence of outliers. Maxdist (maximum distance of data objects allowed in a cluster) is another method, it is used to identify data objects assigned to multi-cluster. The main function of OCA are composed of three phases. The first phase is to segment data objects into cluster using the k-means algorithm. The second phase is the detection of the abnormal values(outliers) in the datasets using median and median absolute deviation. Finally, the last phase is the identification of overlapping clusters, it uses maxdist as a predictor of data objects that can belong to multiple clusters. Based on the experimental results, the developed OCA demonstrated its capability in terms of detecting the abnormal values (outliers) and identification of clusters with overlaps. Experiments revealed that OCA is very useful data analysis tool for data clustering, outlier detection analysis and the detection of overlapping clusters.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128034140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Kim, Seul-Gi Kim","doi":"10.1109/ICIIBMS.2018.8549987","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICIIBMS.2018.8549987","url":null,"abstract":"Statement of the Problem: A variety of imaging probes have been developed for different molecular targets. The gastrin-releasing peptide (GRP) analogues (GRP, GRP18-27 and GRP21-27) were investigated vigorously as a targeting peptide for tumor, however, the cancer targeting abilities of these GRP analogues had not been compared head-to-head. Direct comparison of characteristics of these analogues will provide a useful information for the design of molecular imaging agent associated with GRP and an insight within the mechanism of tumor targeting using GRP analogues. Approach: In the present study, we developed Tc-99m and fluorescence (carboxytetramethylrhodamine, TAMRA) labeled GRP analogues containing three different peptides (TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP, TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP18-27 and TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP21-27) to target the tumor cells and compared the tumor targeting abilities using in vitro and in vivo experiments. Peptides were synthesized using Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis. Radiolabeling of peptides with Tc-99m was done using ligand exchange via tartrate. Binding affinity and in vitro cellular uptake studies were performed. Gamma camera imaging study was performed in murine models with PC-3 tumors. The average counts per pixel within the ROIs were measured and target-to-non-target ratios were calculated. Results: After radiolabeling procedures with Tc-99m, Tc-99m labeled peptides were prepared in high yield $(>96%)$. Tc-99m TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP $(mathbf{Kd}=mathbf{7.9}pm mathbf{2.7} mathbf{nM})$ showed highest binding affinity for PC-3 tumor cells and Tc-99m TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP18-27 $(mathbf{Kd}=mathbf{12.6}pm mathbf{3.6} mathbf{nM})$ showed relatively low binding affinity. Confocal microscopy images of PC-3 cells incubated with TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP and TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP21-27 showed strong fluorescence in the cytoplasm. Gamma camera imaging revealed substantial uptake of Tc-99m TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP21-27 in tumors. Conclusion: We developed three Tc-99m and TAMRA labeled GRP analogues as a molecular imaging agent for targeting tumor. In vitro studies demonstrated substantial binding affinity and cellular uptake of TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP and TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP21-27. In contrast, in vivo gamma imaging study revealed that only Tc-99m TAMRA-GHEG-ECG-GRP21-27 was significantly accumulated in the tumor tissue. Taken together, the present study suggest that 7-mer peptide, GRP21-27 is the best surrogate as a targeting ligand for tumor imaging.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123588243","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, the mobile robot laser navigation has always been the focus and problems in fields covering a wide spectrum of disciplines. The object of this study was to explore the mapping of mobile robot based on Hector-SLAM algorithm and the simulation experiment of the global path planning in static environments. A tracked mobile robot is designed for navigation test platform, which is mainly composed of two dimensional laser radar called Neato XV-11 laser, mobile robot chassis, PC terminal and an Android phone. The motion control commands of robot platform are published by smart phone and executed via Python code in Raspberry Pi board. After algorithm procedure for Hector SLAM are represented in depth, the map building in this way is completed on Robot Operating System (ROS) where RVIZ is run to carry out cartographic visualization. On the other hand, a new ant colony algorithm(ACO), which introduces pheromone orientation, is proposed for the issue about robot shortest path planning in static environment. The results of mapping obtained on ROS show a satisfactory level of indoor environment, which reveals the feasibility of our approach in laser navigation. Furthermore, it is proved from the simulation experiments of modified ACO algorithm that the new algorithm not only can obtain the same optimal path, but also has faster convergence speed and smaller error peak in complex static environments.","PeriodicalId":430326,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and Biomedical Sciences (ICIIBMS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121486408","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
