Simulation studies are performed using Electromagnetic Simulation Software CST Studio Suite. Moreover, a development of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) model is implemented based on feedforward back-propagation and Bayesian regularization learning algorithm. The optimal position for H-slotted DGS antenna performance is predicted in terms of reflection coefficient and resonance frequency. The antenna is implemented on Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 with relative dielectric constant of 0.0009 and thickness 0.38 mm. It operates at both 15.04 GHz (from 14.87 GHz to 15.208 GHz) and 24.77 GHz (from 24.404 GHz to 25.137 GHz). The antenna achieves gains of 5.59 dB and 6.10 dB and efficiencies of 87 % and 80 % at both frequencies, respectively. This comparison gives full information about control strategies of conduction modes applying to the induction motor. That will make the choice at which mode the inductive motor will give the highest performance, the most efficiency, and which one of those modes is more speed response of the whole system. This study includes the model response of induction motor drive by using MATLAB Simulink software. The simulation model checked the performance of the induction motor main characteristic like speeds, currents, and torque under steady-state and various dynamic conditions. In particular, the operation of DC motors must control their speed accurately in order to obtain the desired efficiency. Traditional PID control algorithm is preferred for its simplicity and usability in most industrial applications. This article describes the design and implementation of a PID control strategy using a simulation software to control the speed of a DC motor whose parameters are unknown. The mathematical model of the control system is obtained through a system identification by applying an input signal. Using obtained the mathematical model and Bode diagram techniques, a single input / single output configurator was designed. The PID control algorithm parameters P, I and $D$ values are obtained by auto tuning methods. Here, an online identification system is used to set new control parameters. This study, PID controller is implemented using a simulation software and microcontroller integrated control board. This paper proposes a novel online method for monitoring the junction temperature based on the input and output of the inverter. By obtaining the input and output voltage and current of the inverter, the turn-off transient waveform of each power device can be extracted to calculate the turn-off loss. Then the reliability state monitoring of the power device can be realized according to the Eoff - Ic- Tj mapping table. Results show that this method can obtain the turn-off loss Eoff in each control cycle to predict and monitor the real-time junction temperature Tj of each power device. Simple serial hybrid fiber amplifier that consists of erbium doped fiber amplifier and Raman fiber amplifier is used. Only one Raman pump power unit of 1495 nm with maximum power of 400 mW is used for both of Erbium and Raman amplifiers. Erbium amplifier is pumped by the residual pump power of the Raman amplifier. At small input signal power of −25 dBm, and at optimum pump power, a gain flatness of 70 nm from 1530 to 1600 nm with an average power of 32 dB is obtained. In addition, at large input signal power of −10 dBm, two different flatness bandwidth regions are recorded. Flatness gain bandwidth of 52 nm (1525–1577) within C-band region with an average gain of 22 dB is achieved. This isolation implements a form of self-interference (SI) cancellation to facilitates simultaneous transmission and reception from single antenna. Variations in antenna impedance with respect to frequency significantly reduces the isolation bandwidth and is dominant factor in limiting the isolation. A frequency independent antenna with a core structure of equiangular Archimedean spiral is designed by authors with high impedance stability in ultra-wideband (UWB) frequency domain of 1.5GHz to 3.5GHz while the antenna impedance is smoothened using some electromagnetic techniques. An efficient hardware architecture for the proposed algorithm is presented. The architecture is modeled using C++ in the High-level Synthesis (HLS) tool. Furthermore, it is implemented on an FPGA device fabricated at a 16nm technology node. According to experimental results, low resource utilization, low power consumption, and a maximum frequency of 300MHz are achieved. This efficiency stems from the fundamental property of SSK scheme of activating only one single antenna at any time instant, which eliminates the inter-channel interference (ICI) and enables the use of single RF-chain at the transmitter. Conventional SSK is of coherent nature, which requires the channel state information (CSI) to be available at the receiver. Obtaining accurate CSI introduces significant complexity to the system. The non-coherent counterpart of SSK, namely Differential space shift keying (DSSK), overcomes the need to have the CSI at the receiver while retaining the inherent advantages of coherent SSK. The detection in DSSK is based on the received blocks at two consecutive time slots. However, the computational complexity and memory-size requirements of the existing optimal maximum-likelihood receiver of the DSSK system grow exponentially with the number of transmit antennas. This hinders the practical implementation of large-scale DSSK systems. Thus, this work aims at utilizing the inherent sparsity of DSSK schemes to propose a reduced complexity, yet reliable, detectors for DSSK schemes based on the theory of sparse recovery (SR). Conventional buck converters use a transformer for galvanic isolation for the PWM signal, which has a copper, hysteresis, and eddy current losses. In the proposed converter, isolation is achieved with the optocoupler, which prevents losses and has a much higher switching frequency. The proposed circuit consists of a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS)-based half-bridge circuits with anti-phase freewheeling diodes running in an optocoupler device rather than regular switching elements such as insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) or metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFET). The optocoupler is the latest technology, which is CMOS-based, with high current output and up to 250kHz frequency capability. Because of frequency and current capabilities, it is suitable to use in dc-dc converters. At the same time, the CMOS-based half-bridge circuit has the current blocking capability, and there is no need for a diode that is used at conventional circuits. Finally, the prototype of the proposed converter is tested to verify its efficiency in different applications such as renewable energy battery chargers and a commonly used 12V to 5V converter design. Efficiency calculations are done in comparison with three different conventional converters.
