According to the initial review of research publications about the pandemic's effect on the economy, there is a lack of studies on local consequences of coronavirus restrictions for particular industries. Methodologically, the monograph relies on a wide range of approaches, such as the theory of industrial markets, macro- and microeconomics, and new institutional economic theory. Among the main research methods are evaluating the traditional economic indicators and qualitative analysis of expert assessment. It has allowed obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the processes during the strictest lockdown measures, as well as the processes of business adaptation to the new post-pandemic reality. The monograph's authors examine six industries: retail trade, IT, tourism, pharmaceutical, chemical and automotive. The book reveals one of key paradoxes of the current crisis in the Russian practice: oftentimes companies from the most affected industries have found themselves in a winning position, whereas industries that initially received advantages have suffered losses. This is largely attributed to the digitalization of interaction with customers and suppliers attained in the pre-pandemic period.","PeriodicalId":42955,"journal":{"name":"Upravlenets-The Manager","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2022-03-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89798205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Savin","doi":"10.29141/2218-5003-2021-12-6-5","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29141/2218-5003-2021-12-6-5","url":null,"abstract":". Forming the systems of flow processes management in the context of limited resources and a sharing economy is among the most pressing problems of digitalization. The scientific review analyses the theoretical and methodological foundations and special features of forming the smart city transport and logistics systems in practice, as well as the promising trends in their development aimed at increasing the level of mobility. Methodologically, the study rests on institutional and evolutionary economics theories, sustainable development theory, as well as the provisions of the quantitative school of management. The methods of systemic, comparative and cluster analysis were applied. Using VOSviewer software, the author analyses research publications indexed in the Russian and global citation databases and selects the articles dedicated to the latest trends in the field of mobility, transport and logistics. The research outlines the dominant trends and specifics of the smart mobility services development in real time for businesses and individuals, as well as intelligent transportation systems and highly autonomous vehicles in smart cities worldwide. The findings prove that the development of the Internet of Things underlies all trends, and a tendency to the formation of a multimodal environment, in particular. The study substantiates the necessity to develop the concept of urban logistics as a tool that expands the opportunities for forming sustainable systems of flow processes management in an urban area. The research results can complement the research trends in the development of the smart city transport and logistics system, formulate the norms and rules for cooperation of economic agents, and also serve as a theoretical and methodological framework for further research.","PeriodicalId":42955,"journal":{"name":"Upravlenets-The Manager","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2022-01-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90833120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, forming CFTs is accompanied by various obstacles associated primarily with the fragmentation and inconsistency of ideas about their essence and management methods. The paper analyses the central avenues for studying CFTs and regulating their activities. Methodologically, the study rests on the principles of the managerial approach to team-building, as well as knowledge and knowledge-intensive capital management. The methods of expert (selective) systematic, terminological and comparative analysis were used. The information base includes 79 publications released in 2011-2021 and indexed in the Google Scholar and eLibrary scientific databases. The works under consideration focus on trends and management practice in the sphere of CFTs, analyze their essence and control methods applied by the team leaders. The present research forms the relevant systematized idea about the nature of CFTs and the specifics of their activities in the context of company management transformation. The performed terminological analysis allowed establishing the attributes inherent in cross-functional teams and the advantages of this type of teams when dealing with various challenges. As indicated by the findings, the level of cross-functionality affects the integration ability of team members and the choice of management tools. The research identifies situational and contextual variables that determine CFTs' effectiveness: internal team environment, effective exchange of knowledge, clear team goals, shared vision, etc. The data obtained can be used to conduct further empirical study of CFTs' management and activities.","PeriodicalId":42955,"journal":{"name":"Upravlenets-The Manager","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2022-01-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90844933","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Kokurina, Nikita Karpov","doi":"10.29141/2218-5003-2021-12-6-2","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29141/2218-5003-2021-12-6-2","url":null,"abstract":". There is a growing interest in non-financial reporting of public companies, which includes environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. The paper studies how the degree of ESG disclosure affects corporate performance in Russia. Methodo-logically, the study relies on the concept of corporate sustainability and stakeholders, according to which ESG reporting increases investors and customers’ confidence in the company and thereby contributes to the growth of profit-based indicators. Among the research methods applied are descriptive, correlation and regression analysis of the relationship between ESG disclosure and return on assets (ROA), equity (ROE) and capital (ROC) of public companies. The sample includes 50 Russian companies whose shares were traded on the Moscow Exchange between 2010 and 2019. The research demonstrates that ESG reporting has a statistically significant positive impact on the financial performance of the companies under review. The degree of this influence is different according to the enterprise’s industry, size and debt level. Moreover, even in similar companies the impact depends on the level of ESG disclosure. The obtained results are of interest primarily to lenders, since the study focuses on financial profit-based indicators, while investors, in addition to traditional analysis, also use value analysis.","PeriodicalId":42955,"journal":{"name":"Upravlenets-The Manager","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2022-01-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85483730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
