The one-group research design was adopted in the study and two measurement tools were used; a pre-post creative reading test and a self-efficacy questionnaire. A program based on the 4MAT Model was designed and applied to a sample of 33 fourth year English Majors in the educational section at Women’s College, Ain Shams University in the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022. The intended creative reading sub components related to fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration were introduced according to the stages of the 4MAT Model (motivation/reflective observation, concept making/information, active experimentation and concrete experiences/creative applications).
